Is this the falsest of Spurs false dawns? well they didn't even dawn did they? You can spend spend spend but you have to get all those primadonnas performing together.

Spurs fans are on this perennial unconditional loyalty trip, Spurs plc know they'll turn up home and away and buy the merchandise whatever!

Martin Jol the first managerial casualty of season 07/08? He's a bit of a cult with the spurs faithful.

Yeah...Spurs have had a right rotten start to the season...and after splashing out all that money...

Still, they've spent less, and got more points than Man U...So not all bad then!!

Every club needs stability to succeed (with the exception of Real Madrid, it seems) and Martin Jol is the best thing to happen to Tottenham for years. Just as they look like they have the best chance in years of cracking the top 4, possibly at the expense of Arsenal, Levy goes and spoils it all by alledgedly trying to replace him and bring dis-harmony and controversy to the place.

why should they get sanctioned for something the Spanish police were equally guilty of?

That's if you're on about the trouble out there. Besides, I don't think there's a UEFA charge for vandalism

Maybe they didn't start it, who knows for certain? Do you? Probably people who actually were there. But the Spanish police certainly weren't innocent. And it's all too easy to blame drunken English fans for the over-zealousness of foreign police

But you know why Gilbert was a Spurs fan?
(Clue...he does a pretty good Martin Jol impression!)
