Northern Ireland are a rubbish team who only seem to perform against the top nations. I know we're not a really strong side after our starting XI, and they drew 2-2 with us at our place, only for us to go out there and absolutely murder them. Northern Ireland are, in my opinion, a bit of a joke. They'll lose their next game quite convincingly, but then brag that they're "a match for anyone on our day". What good is that if you've got no ambition to get past qualification?

I think deep down they know they'l never qualify and all they can realistically hope for is to make a name for themselves against the big teams, this kind of result just puts them on the footballing map.

I know, it's pathetic isn't it, but when you take odds of 1/80 on Germany, 1/25 on Turkey and only slightly better for the other teams - you can see why. Though the odds they give are a joke really. (Take 1/4 on for Spain to win - sadly i did)..
left it alone, remembered 1982 just in time, fancied a 0-0 tbh.
