Liverpool doing well in the qualifiers, every game this season they have scored 3 goals or more, maybe the dream of returning to former glory isn't so far away, and Rafa buying Crouch, and english player, wow, not all spanish after all, nvm though, he seems to know what he's doing

To be honest, I don't Liverpool will win it again this year- we were incredibly lucky in many of our games ("it was in the stars"), and it was a fantastic night, week, month- and it's ours to keep now. To win it again would be great, but I don't see it happening.

I have ultimate faith in Rafa, but I can't fathom why he keeps playing Potter.

Potter is coming along nicely! Whitbread, and Warnock too...shame we had to lose Harrison and Otsemboar...but good luck in the future to them.
Mellor will prob be the next of the youth side to go (too top heavy as it is) But Raven and Welsh are still coming through....
And who says the big clubs don't develop home grown talent?

agree Cupra, none of them quite Gerrard, Carragher or Owen class but still some good squad players, Welsh impressed me last year when he played in the first team and Whitbread in particular has looked excellent pre season this year. The young Irish keeper, is it Willis, looks good too, i think thats why Harrison left, and Otsemobor wanted more guaranteed football, which he was never going to get (although he's on a pretty similar level to Josemi IMO)

I think all of us would agree very early to make comments on our progress. I still think we need a LB and a RB and CH as cover. Riise for me is sadly lacking in the defensive dept and he leaves us wide open on the left side when he goes on one of his runs. Yes somebody should cover him but he has to shout to somebody to give him cover. The spanish RB is not for me good enough, but we shall see.
