Nice to see this happen today. I thought they thoroughly deserve it and were the better team and could have had more goals, just a shame it was Zokora running through and not Berbatov or Keane. Or even Jenas. They outplayed Chelsea and, were it not for Robinson's poor positioning at the free kick (so that's why you have a wall covering one side of the goal and you cover the other side Big Grin) they may have had it wrapped up in the 90 minutes.

Bags of character in the Tottenham side (in the words of Jamie Redknapp over and over again), none in the Chelsea side. I have a feeling that, if Terry and Lampard were to leave, Chelsea would be a better side. Talk about two divisive people who think they're bigger than the club

With Spurs winning today and thus reaching Europe again does this mean unless Man U and Chelsea get to the FA Cup final there will only be one spot left in the league?

Suppose if one of our English teams go onto win the UEFA Cup that could change?

That's quite right.

Unless United play Chelsea in the FA Cup final. Only 5th place will give a UEFA Cup place, Spurs have taken theirs by winning today. If Everton or Bolton won the UEFA Cup they'd qualify for next year by virtue of that. If Spurs did, I assume that UEFA Cup via league placing comes back in to play and you can qualify by finishing 6th.

Highly confusing!

I thought you'd be glad a player local to you scored the winner, even though he left you recently

Yes! I've just been listening to "the legends" on the radio. They all made great play of it.

I thought there was an element of luck involved in his goal, but, like they say, you have to be there in the first place and Cech made a hash of it anyway

Well done to Tottingham ( Big Grin) but I can't help but think that Baron Greenback (aka Avram Grant) made it easy for them.

His bizarre selection policy; leaving out J Cole & Ballack, who are both in form & playing an out & out striker like Anelka on the Left wing was very puzzling.

Also his failure to rally the troops during half-time of extra-time was shocking.

What was he thinking?
