How much did you get back from the £30 million for RVN? And you spent the same on Rooney...not been that good this year, has he? For a one trick pony, Henry has been the most consistant striker in the League for the past few seasons
...and? And - Henry's still a one trick pony. Never seen such a fuss over a reasonable goal.

You'd have to ask a Real Madrid fan about that... But if we need to compare, look towards Giggs/Scholes/Rooney/C Ronaldo... and Henry's wouldn't come close....

I notice you only have one striker on that list... Not on form either! Still, as they said at the start of the season, he just needs to get a few games under his belt Here's something for you to Google... When was the last time "the new Pele" scored in a competitive match for England?
The past is history...The future a mystery. This moment is a gift...That's why it's the present.
Look, you're clearly taking this too seriously and turning it into a childish "my teams better than you team" battle.. It's pure banter for me.. I honestly do think Arsenal have been laughable this season and i've enjoyed every minute of them not being any sort of threat to us.
That is all.

PMSL! Methinks is you who are going on about "my team is better than yours"! I'm not even an Arsenal fan, yet can appreciate their style and play. I can also see how Wenger is constantly building teams for the future, and just how strong they look for the coming years, compared to Ferries "new" team being based around Giggs, Neville, and Scholes, and the overpriced and under-performing Rooney and Carrick. Like I say...wait till you miss Scholes for two or more league games...

To quote you - 'PMSL'. Oh i yeah, they're constantly bringing those youth players through aren't they?! lol.. Let's really not get into the whole 'how many foreign players?' thing, but seriously, have you looked at Arsenal's line up recently??

Rooney? So he's having an 'off' patch, who doesn't? You want to look at Chelsea's buys before you can knock United for that!! lol... Shevchenko anyone? lol...

Ah, so that's why you've taken issue with me.. .. Can't let it go?? But as for the comment - what a load of.........

Yes, Arsenal are constantly bring new players in. And no one mentioned foreign players. Fine, Chelsea have also paid £30m for a dud...No problems with that. They were also daft to have paid for Veron..but at least they didn't spend another £30m on him And as for Scholes...time will tell. But maybe it's more than a coincidence that Utd have returned to form at exactly that same time as he returned from injury. You don't half take this banter seriously!

If English players (and their management) choose to price themselves out the market, that's their problem! All I can say is make a list of ex-Arsenal English players, who have left the club to go onto bigger and better things... If a player isn't good enough, or costs too much, what's the point in having them?

Ah bless, you get my original reply deleted?
The facts sure do speak for themselves, looked at Prem table recently?

There are a good number of English players that have come through our academy playing in the premiership which cant be said for a lot of clubs. How many English players has your club produced recently?
As a footnote a club that recently criticised arsenals affect on English youth development got beat so badly by our U16's the game was called off 10 minutes early at 9-0.
