Andy, do you know which side are the best attended in Britain?

Man United get the highest average home attendance. I have nothing against you and I'm not picking on you, but you aren't posting facts. There's nothing I like more than a good discussion, but it seemes you're on a wind up with some of your posts

No, it was the obvious answer but it is wrong.
The answer is...Burnley!
A quarter of the town's population regularly go to their home games so, Man U would need to bring in about 110k to equal that.
Even Cardiff would have to get 80k every home game to match Burnley's attendance!
Fact!

Aah, so what you menat to ask was: what club has the highest percentage of its population present at their hopme games? Rather than the confusing way that you actually worded it then. By the way, what are the official figures for attendance and poulation at Burnley, Man United and Cardiff? Sorry, I know I should know at least one of these, so forgive me if I don't have the facts to hand

Will post that up. I didn't mislead you, what have I done to you as you don't like me? I'm only a footie fan like you and everyone else has been cool like Fonzy.

And whatever is wrong then I'm sorry, ok? I was only joking about Swansea.

I really have nothing against you, but what you were saying were facts were nothing of the sort. I like having a good discussion about football and I've had many on here and sometimes the best ones are with people who don't necessarily agree with my viewpoint, nor me theirs. I hope to have many with you about everything football, just make your facts actual facts, eh? And I'm not really bothered about the jacks. I don't hate them, as many Cardiff fans do (with a proper, violent passion, too) and most of my family are actually from there, but I do begrudge them any victory they may have

When he said Newcastle would be a top 6 side I did not think he meant in the Championship!

I told you I didn't fancy the drive up there, didn't I? Keegan to bail out before the end of the season? Looking likely at the moment. and perhaps his clueless owner should go too

If he's going to stand with the fans and take their advice when they can't actually see past Keegan, then he deserves everything he gets. He should know his own mind and take his time over any decisions, rather than a short-term fix to appease said supporters

3 in 36 is the current form. 2 in 21 under Keegan. Absolute gold dust this. Please let them go down, I think I'd die laughing.

And me. Potential stability to relegation. and all because the owner put his black and white shirt on and stood with the frustrated masses on the terraces. You should be your own man and make your own decisions, not the ones of other people

Not really, I guess you're going off borough boundaries to determine a club's catchment area. According to stats for 2006-07 Burnley's average attendance was 11956. I've never been to Burnley but I'd have thought its population is quite a bit over 50,0000? I'd guess that Burnley get quite a few of their fans from Padiham and Accrington? For Rochdale (the Metropolitan borough of Rochdale) the population's over 200,000! But that includes quite a few nearby towns and villages. The town's actual population is 95796. (2001 census)

I must admit, I read somewhere a few years ago that, in the top flight at least, Blackburn were the team who attracted the most fans from their actual town. It's a confusing thing all this when you think about it. After all, if you talk council boundaries as a benchmark, would most of, if not all, the London sides then be the most poorly supported teams in the country?

In the past I may have given the impression that the board know as much about football as our pet donkey Jack, and that Mrs Joe would do a better job than Superkev. I wish to apologise, we now know that the Messiah's appointment was a stroke of genius and that it will not be long before Kevin is back in his rightful position as England manager.
