I know its only a friendly but I have tickets for this so we should have a thread Wink, hopefully it will be a great game.
Interesting to see Brazil without Adriano and Ronaldo with Ronaldinho in his Barca position.
Also cant't wait to see Messi and the other kid Ageuro.

Vamos Argentina.

Does that mean that Fred will be playing? Smile Please let that be so. He's such a good youngster.
Zeds, do you know the starting line-up?

I can't get any excitement going over this game, but that's not to slate anyone else for doing so. It's just me.

Also, I can't muster any excitement for Wales' friendly against the Brazilians either. I think even John Toshack sees it as an irritation, and is something the Brazilians seem to have railroaded us into

Yeah i kind of backed the wrong team lol

Argentina got there tactics all wrong, messi and tevez should never play without a main striker up with them.

Riquleme was no where to b seen

Brazil got everything right and with alot of new players they near there best and without many players who have been there for years.

Cafu, Carlos, Dida and Ronaldo i cant ever see playing for brazil again.

Kaka and Ronaldinho will start most games if both fit ( hope there not fit for wales came )

A typically nasty, spiteful performance towards the end from the Argies. Why do they behave like this? They roll around like little girls at the merest brush against them, yet come out like middleweight boxers towards the end of a game they're losing. If we never had them in another competition, it would be no loss

Agreed. Argentina were poor without a central forward. Kaka was different class when he came on.
Great friendly atmosphere at the game although not especially loud and passionate. The stadium is incredible very very plush.Everyone heard of the cushioned seats but they're also so wide and comfortable I swear I could've had a small kid sat next to me.
A few problems mind, some of our mates had seats at the other end and found other people in them with the same ticket numbers etc Ninja Roll Eyes
Also something needs to be done about the congestion to the station after the game very very slooooooooow.
All in all a great day Big Grin

Argentina rallied at the beginning of the second half but were well beaten Big Grin.

As to the tickets Zeds. I heard there have been problems with picking up tickets at the ground, not only with this one but previous matches where people have missed up to half an hour of the match waiting. Long queue's and one i heard they had to reprint his ticket because despite the fact they said his ticket was ready to be picked up there they had no record of it when he got there. Lucky he had all the details to back it up. If they were frantically reprinting tickets im not surprised if they got some legitimate dupicates so they may not have been dodgy ones.

Easy. Go to the pub, get a couple of pints and, by the time you're ready to go home, the congestion's gone
