Seriously mate, did you go? If you did, how did you enjoy the match? I enjoyed it, I thought we played pretty well and, as I said before, I wasn't really expecting too much from the game, but we got what we wanted; a good day out and a decent performance
i didnt go sadly, glad you enjoyed it though, i assume the reception for Fowler was appropriate, saw the highlights, short as they were, cheers ITV, seems you played well, 2-1's not a disastrous result, hopefully we can play you in the Prem sometime in the next few years!!!
Yeah, Fowler got5 a good reception, I doubt anyone thought he would get otherwise, really. The way we're playing, I don't think we'll be playing you in the Prem next season though!

Whats gone wrong this year? Seems a good team on paper
It is a good team. The combination of Fowler and Hasselbaink isn't working as well as a lot of fans hoped, we're conceding sloppy goals, players aren't trying, we're not clinical enough in front of goal. There are many factors that could be to blame, but you either can't put your finger on one, or all of them are to blame. If that makes any sense.
We were great against you, but I guarantee in our next game v Palace at home, we'll be a different team. We dominate games, but we just can't finish them off, we go into our shells and concede sloppy goals. And Dave Jones doesn't seem to be able to arrest this slump. There are calls for him to go, but I don't believe he should. Who better is there out there? We can't afford to get someone else's manager and pay compensation and any of the managers currently out of work are out of work for a reason. They're no good.
There's always Mourinho. He was paid £25m so he wouldn't manage another English team. But, technically speaking....

I wouldnt get rid of Dave Jones either, i think he's proved what he can do, trouble is if he can't arrest the slump what do you do, cant sack the whole squad, need a couple of signing as a boost in january, is there money to do that? Players who dont try need to leave, no matter who they are, i cant abide that for the money they're on!!
Talking of the money they're on, have you seen the scan of Jon Arne riise's payslip???
You're right though. We work 5 days a week in jobs most of us generally would rather we do something else. You expect a professional player to at least try in the most meaningful 1 1/2 hours work they do in a week.
And you're also right about DJ arresting a slump, something which he's failed to do (12 wins in the last 46 games) and needs to do something soon to prove to the increasing number of doubters he actually does have what it takes

I've explained in nice simple terms (being as everyone else understood) just for you chuck, not my problem if you still can't grasp it. (P.s, the was in reference to your champs game, did you catch that this time luv?)
You're so full of it, it's hilarious. You only ever post to slate United or reply to me, bless ya.
Well thank you so much for taking the time out to: A) Reply to me. And, B) Slate Liverpool.
There's talk of the Pot calling one of Utd's 18 away kits black... Chin up hunni...nearly time for the Christmas sales!
The past is history...The future a mystery. This moment is a gift...That's why it's the present.

I genuinely think he is the sort of player England need though! He's not a box-to-box athlete like Gerrard, Lampard, Paker, Nolan... etc. He's got limited pace, no strength, no height BUT he has a first touch to die for, technique as good as any English player and an excellent 'footballing brain'. His being on the same wavelength as Arteta and the Ajax schooled Pienaar has been behind our move in to attractive football recently.
Joe Cole who played with Osman for the England U18s said that Osman was miles ahead of everyone else at that level. It was only a serious knee injury that kept him out for nearly two years (at a time of key development) that has prevented him being an outstanding player.

well the way we've gone we might as well give a few more players a chance and leave out the so called fancy dans who've not got us to Euro 2008, be nice to see some passion and pride in the 3 lions for a change, certain players know they'll be picked no matter how badly they perform
