(I think it was Edu)I've looked at it and can only see a legitimate challenge V Chelsa Sunday last, if I was Edu I'd sue the BBC and Hanson, if anything it was fractionally late, it was not "high" or "studs up".

Didnt Edu 2 years ago???? I think it was Eboue and personally i didnt see anything wrong with the challenge, it was no different than another 50 challenges you see every game, bad luck for Terry but not malicious and not even foul play

There was no intent to injure unlike Terry himself when he slid in to Fabregas earlier in the match and followed it through unnecessarily. Horrible player, hope he is dropped as England captain. Overrated as well.

I have said before and I'll say it again that I dont like Eboue.

However I am going to defend him this time. I found nothing wrong in the challenge he slightly overran the ball and was still entitled to go for it. It was just unlucky Terry kicked his studs. If you wanted to hurt someone Terry showed a textbook way of doing it earlier by jumping in and put your weight behind it, not dangle a leg in that is just as likely to get hurt yourself. I thought the coverage of the two injuries very biased on both BBC and Sky in that they barely showed a replay of Cole injuring Eboue it on Sky and not at all on the good old Beeb.

Terry was lucky to still be playing at the time and it was just after Terry had really gone into Eboue as well (I noticed he was limping after that and I wouldnt be surprised if he damaged his foot in that tackle too but they didnt replay that bit so hard to tell now).

I thought that was disgusting and because he is England captain they don't criticise him for it. You would think after last year the referee would be wary of retribution tackles like that.

But then Sky's, and in particular Andy Gray's, gushing hero-worship of John Terry must surely make him exempt from criticism?
