BBC is reliable but it has only reliably reported what was said on 5 live (which isnt). Still nothing from the transfer sites or the club so its not a done deal yet.

Rumours are that Baptista is having medical..(cant see that would be left this late) and stumbling over Baptista fee/pay.

Gallas is a much more versatile player great signing.

But gallas wants to play as a central defender, so who will b dropped by wenger and who will play left back.

gallas will come straight into the team at centre back(and replace djourou) as senderos is injured at the moment. And Clichy(when he's fit) will play left back. Until then hopefully wenger will drop hoyte and play flamini there.

So, when Senderos is fit, who will he pick?

I'm pretty certain Gallas would only have signed on the proviso he played centre half. I'm also pretty certain that Senderos will be his partner the moment he gets fit. Imho Senderos was one of the outstanding players of the WC and is probably Wengers 1st choice centre back.

God, aren't Arsenal fans lucky? Win lose or draw surely they've got the best 1-11 in the Premiership? The thing I really like about Arsenal, unlike Chelski, Man Ure and Liverpool, even when they're off form and/or don't win, they're still bloody good to watch.

By the way, I'm glad they've got shut of Reyes. Always flattering to deceive, and he's got one of those horrible, petulant, sneaky snidy attitudes when things aren't going his way. I've no doubt him and Madrids number 23 will get on famously.

I prefer Eboue to Lauren but we had a very good record whenever Lauren played last year and I am sure Wenger won't forget that assuming he recovers from the surgery.
