Apparently "mei" means beauty or beautifull, so it can only mean Leicester city

Well, it started a long, long time ago, when i was back-packing around the world.. and i met a wise man sat on a cliff and he granted me one question for which he could guarantee the answer.. and this one question "In Cantonese, which English football club are known as 'Mei Toeh Si Poeh'? - had always bugged me.. so i asked away, and Middlesbrough was the answer.

And that's about it really...

Its been aroud a while, and as with any translation of english names into cantonese its done phoneticly. Thranslating back those characters into english phonetics again just makes it even more confusing lol.

I read it somewhere where it broke down into 'mie doe si boer' or something like that anyway.

I think you get minus points for taking the credit for the Wise Man's efforts.
