I know it's traditional for Arsenal fans to boo any player from or linked to Spurs and vice verca, but Davids is a football icon and was good enough to find time for Dennis Bergkamps testimonial at the Emirates Saturday last, come on be fair gang.
(I thought the chant I've got a shed bigger than White Hart Lane to the tune of 'he's got the whole world' was genius though )

To be fair the boos had died down until the git decided he wanted to be a hero for spurs and score...it wasnt as if we would have missed him being there but fair comment it was for charity and he gave up his time.

A mate of mine told me about this and I thought it was hilarious. I think this would happen whoever the teams playing were. When a player from your fiercest rivals/enemies sets foot in your ground, he's fair game. And especially when he's been a major part of one of the most controversial incidents of the season, too

The only thing controversial about it was that two players ran into each other, knew they couldnt recover so they pretended to be injured, they soon got up when the ref told them to though.
I actually think that the Arsenal fans were wrong in singing what they did, Davids was only there because Bergkamp is one of his best mates. Singing that in the Premiership is a different story though. I find it a bit sad that a player like Bergkamp, instead of getting his fans singing about him at his testimonial, sing about an opposition player.

Oh go on, the new season is almost upon us, and there will be new controversy, and i wont get the chance to mention last seaons divers again. But there again if they couldnt stay on their feet on the smallest pitch in the Premiership, they wont be able to do it on a proper sized pitch, so who knows we may be able to talk about the next time they get to tired to run for the ball
