wow! i didn't even know that he was in hospital. All i know is that he replaced Bill Tomlins (old chairman). Who by the way cheated with buying players and we still may have 10 points deducted because of him

Yes...Pinko had a shunt racing in the BTCC at Brands on Sunday...Slamed right into the back of current Champion Matt Neal. Don't think either were badly hurt, but like I say, it was a precaution First lap of the first race too! Put a bigger dampner on an already wet day!

One of the great things about the Touring Cars, is that you get to chat to the drivers... I spoke to Dave Pinkney the Sunday after Luton were religated, and he admitted it was with mixed feelings, as he could only take over when it was official that they were down...On the one hand,'Great, I'm Chairman of the club I love' On the other, '$h1t, the club I love got relegated'! He did admit that Watford also going down eased the pain (!), and hinted to the new ground being rather good... Which won't be too hard, as there have been times I've been to the Road, and not been sure if I was approching turnstiles, or going up the alley of one of the terraced houses. Add to that (at the time) the plastic pitch, the away fan ban, and the one side of the stands being executive boxes (I used to sit in Box 4 when I could get tickets off a family members company), and there is a lot of room for progress. God knows the town needs some heavy investment!

It is weird I agree, maybe thats why for the last two weeks on Final Score that well known plank of wood Ray Stubbs has said the only team left with a 100 % record left in the football league is Leyton Orient & they lost that on Saturday.

Well I've got this guitar and I've learned how to make it talk.
Why not have a Luton Town thread. At least they haven't got the clubs queuing up to make sure that their points deduction stuck and they haven't been thrown out of the FA. Unlike the loathesome Leeds United who it seems everyone hates
Our club has done a lot to improve our image over the past few years and to say we're unpopular at Elland Rd isn't exactly a benchmark that either me or any of my fellow Cardiff fans will be using. Especially when Leeds fans start singing about Dave Jones court case that was thrown out of court, but can't take it when songs about Istanbul were sung back at them. I'm not saying that the Istanbul songs were right in a civilised society but, then again, neither were the Leeds fans songs
