Well I am surprised. Not a single comment about the London Blues. AV totally outplayed them. Ambramovich cannot wait until the final whistle. The smile on Doug Ellis face summed it all up. We deserved a point, where the hell is Mourinho coming from? Well done Villa. Hopefully you have started a trend.
I don't think Chelsea played half as good as they could have done, but that said, Villa played out of their box! They have some great young players in there, and England U-21's at that! O'Leary may not have gone big money spending, but what he has assembled on the budget looks to be a great foundation. At the start of the season, I'd have had Villa in the lower mid table... I'll bet with a couple more astute buys, they will be pushing towards Europe
The past is history...The future a mystery. This moment is a gift...That's why it's the present.

I mentioned it in the "Chelsea are beatable" thread. Good on Villa, thought they could grab a draw but to win it 2-0.. against Chelsea.. nice..

I hope that was a slip, Cupra, and you meant to say O'Neill!!
This is the thing with the blistering pace at Villas disposal in Young, Agbonlahor and Moore - if they go one nil up and the opposition are forced in to attacking in numbers, they have the potential to murder you on the counter.

Just aware of your love for Big Brother. Not that there's anything wrong with that of course.. eh Cup..
Are we meant to be embarrassed? Should we hide our admiration for the entertainment, information, and education fest that is BB? Let me tell you what embarrassment is. Take a trip to Germany sometime and explain how you enjoy paying four times the going rate to watch football, as your favourite sport is sacrificed at the altar of the market economy. Tell them how much fun it is to sit down like good children as the agents of social control deafen you with stirring music. Then explain how it will be worth it because one of our teams will win the Champions League every year, and that we will give Germany a run for their money in next year's competion.
(This works best if you imagine John Cooper Clark reciting it)
Capitalism is not dead (malheureusment) It just smells funny.

Wouldn't know, wouldn't care...theres only one person who can hardly go a post without mentioning BB... Must be cold turkey...which makes a change from sucking sour lemons. Summer sales finished at Lakeside plastic? No wonder you got banned from those 'better forums'!!!!

Love it when you use this line.. being as it took a search of Google to find this 'Lakeside', which appears to be down south, a whole lot of miles away from Manc.. Going to have to come up with a new line Cupra-tea..

Eh? Lol.. I'm not banned from any 'better forums'. I'm part of TFF and a couple of others.
So easily wound up.

Aren't you just tho! Have to bite at everything... Just seems odd, that someone who has said that this forum is weak, spends so much time on it. And be honest, you know about Lakeside...It's where you work!

Pot & Kettle Cupra? You seem to have to reply to anything and everything i write, it's ok though, it's cute in a way.
But you ought to spend more time concentrating on football, in order to be able to make a valid contribution to the forum. Come on bud, put the jotter of one liners down and start posting about football, now there's a good lad.

Cheers hunni, I'll have milk and two sugars in me tea since you are making it. And by the look of the recent threads, there seems to be a certain someone who just comes here to (cough) 'banter' rather than comment on the game. Some of us have been here for years quite happily chatting...

Well it's good you can finally see yourself in the mirror mate. But i defend your right to 'banter' as that's what usually happens on a forum, chuck.

I've lurked around the forum a long time before joining. Either way, a persons time on one particular forum isn't representive of the quality of input they add.
Run along, it's so old now.
