The Premier League/FA, or whoever it is thought this up, are advocating that only the captain (And I don't mean CaptVimes!

) of a team be allowed to approach the ref when a decision is to be made, as in rugby. do others on here think this is a good idea?
Personally, I think this is great, but I believe the lawmakers may have copped out slightly in trialling it in grass roots football, as they say that the youngsters can see their idols doing this and will copy what they do. If this is the case, bring it in to top class games immediately. There shouldn't really need to be a trial and it would probably cut out a lot of dissent immediately and go some way to clearing the game up.
But, with captains like John Terry around, is this doomed to failure anyway?
