The second goal was more ball to hand watched at real time speed.

A lot has been made of Fabrigas's reaction to being elbowed in the face, letter of the law it's a straight red and there would have been no alleged amateur dramatics if the Everton player had not raised his elbow.

'We thrashed Arsenal 1-4!??? Has prolix caught 'Spurs fan lurgey'?

and the winner to the most biased post of the year goes to ? lol.

FAct not opinion/bias...what's wrong, truth hurt?

It's been a while but for what it's worth I'll put my 2 cents in about the Everton game, though it feels like weeks ago since we played them!

Everton played really well in the first half and credit to them. They didn't let Arsenal have a minute on the ball and also were ambitious in trying to attack so I can partly understand why Moyes felt gutted about the result.

I, like CaptVimes, had the displeasure of watching the game on Setanta (I find it bizarre that the same company is setting up ArsenalTV by the way) and the commentary was definitely the most biased I have heard in a long time but such is life.

I thought it was really harsh how Moyes and the pundits/commentators tried to take the 4 goals away from us by saying that we had been gifted them.
As far as I'm concerned, it was a case of Arsenal taking their chances and Everton not (Yakubu header) which was the difference between the two sides. If Moyes wants to moan, he sit down and watch some Arsenal performances from the past 2 seasons. Great, flowing football does not guarantee you results.

In regards to Arteta's elbow, it was a straight red. Sol Campbell got sent off with what looked like tap from his arm on Ole Gunnar Solskaer a few years ago and it seems as if the precedent was set then. Cesc's dramatics were irrelevant in terms of the decision following Arteta's elbow. Speaking of dramatics and Cesc's broken jaw, I sincerely hope Phil Neville is ok after being dragged to the ground by that particularly nasty looking blade of grass.

Bendtner - should have been a sraight red, there was nothing nasty in it and I'm pretty sure Andy Johnson's shin was fine but it was reckless all the same. What I don't understand is why Everton fans are complaining about his 1 match ban as we are not playing you anytime soon and Bendtner only comes on as a sub in most games.

I lost a lot of respect for Moyes in his post-match interview, clearly a case of sour grapes and to say that the best team lost was laughable. Everton were the better team by far in the first half but when you concede 4 goals at home...how the manager can still think they were the better team is beyond me.

Where can you get DECENT football punditry? everywhere the boozy hack football sheep are bleating "Sp-u-u-urs dominated at the Emirates last night" when the match stats had the two teams split down the middle evens for possession/goal attempts etc. This is one good thing Murdoch has done for the game IMHO bringing in US style match stats as it makes biased/hostile football match reporting more difficult.

Will Spurs now 'park the bus' and play for a nilnil at WHL reaching Wembley on away goal? it is probably the only way they could beat this young Arsenal side...statistically.

I thought that there were periods in the game when the spuds dominated. I guess we had our moments too but I felt that we got away with a draw though we could have nicked it at the end. I expect them to go through at home against us. One possitive was RVP finally coming back, lets hope he stays fit till the end of the season.

On the commentary againI I know what you mean once again the phrase possibly loosing at their "spanky new stadium". Its inflamatory for me and you can hear the hatred. Its not so much what they say but the way they say it half the time.

I can't believe this is Arsenal fans moaning about the Sky commentators! You should have heard that pair of twots on Tuesday - Ian Darke and Alan Smith, they were coming out with all sorts of rubbish. At 1-0 Chelsea and 30 mins in to a 180 min match they were saying it was all over for Everton. they kept on about Chelsea having to field almost a reserve team - neglecting to mention that they were still fielding £34m of wingers, and 3 international midfielders including the German captain. Everton's midfield meanwhile consisted of two strikers, a right back and Lee Carsley. Utterly ridiculous drivel. I really hate Sky.

Why are you surprised? You didsagree or you think that we shouldnt complain because if it looks like we are going to win someting they start to go over the top the other way? Did you actuallly listen to what they were saying and besides the first and worst was Setanta not Sky though pleat too the absolute biscuit during Decembers Derby when he said if theres any justice Tottenham will win the game while they were winning. Yes I know they can be equally annoying when they wax on about how young the side is too, why they cant just comment on the game I don't know. They switch between gushing over every minor pass to saying thats how you beat them every time we lose or draw. They know there are a large number of fans for the team that is playing are watching along with neutrals.

...and this, as I said is where scientific match stats come in, the 'media Spurs Mafiosi' can't state 'Tottenham played Arsenal off the pitch' when the match stats clearly contradict this biased garbage.

Did ITV fairly represent the match in their highlights programme Wednesday? by my calculation several Arsenal on target goal attempts 'ended up on the cutting room floor'.
