When norwich came down last year, alot of people thought they'd be straight back, with the likes of ashton and huckerby, and the right winger come striker chap, Mcveigh? Good player him.
Drew the first 3 games 1-1, finished 10th?
I'd like to place a sportsmans bet, that sunderland will finish in the bottom half.
Don't want Leeds and their horrid fans back in the premiership, they deserve to suffer in the rola cola league. I think Cardiff might have a chance of going up.
Yeah, Heskey They've got Cameron Jerome now. A good striker, but probably no more than that at the moment, but they're buying his potential. He was in the paper down here the other day saying he thought our players and fans were trying to drive him out of the club and he couldn't understand why. But, a few months earlier, he was saying how he would never fulfill his dreams here and wanted a move to a 'bigger club'. Some people just can't see the irony
Some fans are completely stupid, they'll believe anything any player says, most players think most fans are stupid, jerome just wanted to "justify" his money departure.
The bookies have birmingham favourites, but listening to steve bruce last night on C5, i didnt feel he knew the job in hand.
What happened to brum last season through injury was awfull, but that should be the PAST and forgotten about, especially two days before the new season.
I fear brum still have feelings for last season, and are not concentrating on tomorrow enough.
They still feel like a premiership club, there not, and they wont get promotion untill they realise there not.
Norwich fan in the studio expressed that, and i can assure you, when micky adams said "dont talk to me about top six, talk to me about top 2", 2 years ago as leicester manager, new they'd be trouble. We finished bottom half...
You've got to be confident about going up, of course you have. But underestimating the rest of the division by talking top 2 at the beginning of the season is just playing with fire.
Everyone down here at Cardiff (the players and staff) believes we are capable of going up, but no-one's going to make top 2 or 3 predictions as this could so easily back fire. Besides, I think that may be a little out of our reach anyway and the play offs are our best bet
