Just in case most on here are unaware of the position of our under-21 squad, we are very well poised to qualify for the next tournament. We are in a group with current champions France and are ahead of them (after thrashing them 4-2) with games in hand.
Seeing as we get next to no coverage in the British press or TV, I just thought I'd let everyone know that England probably won't be the only team from the British Isles to qualify. Just in case the British press missed that story about another British team
The British press dont care about the U21's unless someone doesnt bother playing for them. They dont even bother showing the games anymore, there was a time when you could watch the schoolboy internationals live.

The England u-21's game was on live last night and Sky always show them, as they have a contract with the English FA. Sky have the same one with our FA but seldom show our games (the French one was at least on BBC Wales). The schoolboy home international championships (the Victory Shield) are on on an annual basis.
This is all pretty unfair seeing as we pay our sky subscription down here.
Well I dont have sky this year but last I had it they only tended to show them when there was an England international on that week so no other gqames to show. Not showing the U21 tournaments and barely a mention on the BBC let alone show any highlights even.
