Don't you have a booby prize in your sweepstake? You could get the money for the first player sent off (hopefully Ronaldo) or the first goal against or the first penalty missed (hopefully Ronaldo) or ... something else.

I do hope you win but I really would like to see the advertisers get egg on their faces with the viewing figures. It might stop them ramming peak time coverage down our throats.

Nice to have a championship without all the media-hyped Engerland, Baddiel and Skinner, St. George's flags on cars twaddle. I'll be supporting Portugal because my pub landlord is from Madeira. I've gone for Turkey in the poll because I think polls are silly and I wanted to skew the results. Anyone else fancy voting for Turkey?

As I have terrific Polish neighbours, I will be going to Poland. However, as my son is Ronaldo MAD, he is prancing around the house in a Portugal shirt at the moment.

of course i mean going FOR poland, not going TO poland.
