The word legend is overused & is probably not apt in OGS's case, but I am going to use it for him in a United context.

He wouldn't make my all-time United 11, but has there ever been a better substitute?

11 years at the club, all as a sub & no complaints.

119 goals isn't too bad either.

He would have scored more had he not been out for 2 years!!!

Great guy and example to the rest of the prima donnas floating around. Unfortunately it's life. Those that deserve better always seem to come off worse.
Whether he came mainly off the bench he will be sadly missed. The have a player with his ability and attitude is needed by all clubs.

United were very lucky to take 3 pts. It was a pretty dreadful game, few chances and we had a goal dissallowed and another chance ruined when the ref belatedly blew for a non-existent foul on Brown from Yakubu. Not to mention that Scholes should have walked in the first half.

C'mon Pro...you should know by now that Man U are never lucky! Getting 3 points from a game when they would have been flattered to get a single point from, is the mark of champions...or so I am told!

Give over... Plenty have said since that it was harsh enough that he was given a card for 'the way in which he hit the ball back'.. the Ref actually used his noggin' for the second incident and just had a word.

If you throw the ball away. You should expect to be booked. And the tackle that followed on Arteta - not 2 minutes after - was atrocious and had it been any other player, they would have seen yellow for it. Arteta got straight back up to his credit and didn't make a meal out of it, would you be confident you can say the same about Ronaldo/Nani?

I take it from your comments that you thought you deserved 3 points then? Frankly - If that's all you've got this season, you're going to win nothing.
