I don't want to get in to a cascade of quotes here!
You really think he passed the ball back? He smacked it in the air in frustration. Anyone could see that. I'm not reading any further in to his second challenge - merely saying that if he hadn't already been booked, he would have been booked for it.
Where is the 'lucky' comment? I can;t see it in this thread. Glad we can agree that a draw would've been fairest though. It was a cracking header from Vidic, I thought Yobo should have stayed tighter and Hibbo could have challenged for the ball but I take nothing away from a well worked move, it proved the difference.
I was one of Uniteds biggest advocates last season, I loved the freedom in the play and the attacking football, i'm sure what's gone wrong this season but it's just not there at the moment and you need to kick in to gear soon if this season is going to be a success. That's my point.

I said 'lucky' in so many words. I hate that word, it get's used far too much in football.
I've seen far worse where 'passing/throwing the ball back' is concerned.. he punched it back, had he thrown it with a big cheeky smile, Ref wouldn't have bother.. the bloke was frustrated, it happens.
Injuries are not an excuse but have a lot to account for. The loss of Ronaldo for 3 games and the injury to Rooney haven't helped. Plus now we've lost Silvestre for the rest of the season - Nightmare.

i have to say i thought the card was harsh, scholes may well have hit the ball but it went close enough to where the free kick was to be taken from, its not like he knocked it miles away, the two incidents together werent worthy of a red card, though no doubt one of the lesser teams will have someone sent off for similar at some point
i will also take this opportunity to credit Rio for his late block. As you may have read on other threads i dont rate him at all but fair play, it was a fantastic block to keep everton out, am happy to hold my hands up and give credit where its due
Go ask the Banjo Brothers then! They could have bought 160 F50's new, for the price of one Tevez! But then again, an F50 won't be able to give you advice on nasty shaving rash!
The past is history...The future a mystery. This moment is a gift...That's why it's the present.

Acne scar?!?!? For real CT? I thought he was part of a race of immortals who have to battle down through the ages until one is left to claim the prize...and he nearly lost once... Or maybe as part of his tough upbringing, his parents made him wrestle pitbulls on the back streets of Buenos Aires to raise money to feed the starving family... That neck can't be down to zits!
