We're having a wobble at the minute & Arsenal look unstoppable at the moment.
They came through the African Cup of Nations, with the loss of key players, pretty much intact.
It's theirs to lose now, although there is still a lot of football to play; but I believe that United are the only team that can worry Arsenal, but we are not playing that great.
If we can't stop them, they may get a free run through until May.
Rooney, Anderson & Nani were all magnificent yesterday.
In factm you can't really fault any of the players; the defenders didn't have that much to do & even Carrick was quietly impressive.
I never expected to beat Arsenal 4-0 & make no mistake, that was a tremendous side they put out. OK, it was not their strongest 11, but still a great side.
Wowza ! what a result eh? I must admit when I saw our first 11 I had me doubts Fletcher had a good game, and Nani seemed to raise it in Ronaldo's absense. I thought everyone played well and Arsenal just weren't at the races.
I'm probably being greedy here, but I just wish we had a player similar to Saha who stayed fit though. Saha had such a good couple of months last year - I really think he would complete an already great team.
Anyone seen much of Lyon? I know they've been a decent side for the last few years..not sure how they are doing this season though. Hope we go on a good run

Sky have got Souness as an 'expert' on the United game. Anyone who has signed the calibre of players he has (Boumsong, anyone?) isn't really worth listening to. In the Bryan Robson/Peter Reid calibre of managers.
I remember someone once asking Souness what a certain manager would be saying to his players at half time in a game when the team was losing. What the hell would Souness know about that?

Well he did play under Jock Stein so should be able to equate it...
I know he is living in the past managerially but to compare him to Reid and Robson is a bit much.
Probably Wilkinson level I would say
I think he must have played football manager to have signed Bounsong The biggest embarrasment surely must have been when he played "George Weirs cousin" at Southampton. Yet Newcastle still felt his reputation wasnt damaged after that!

I tell you what, I'd just love it if we beat them.. love it.. .. great second goal from Rooney.. Ferdinand did well with the tackle on Owen, brave challenge, and replays show he got the ball..

He'll walk before being pushed though. Ooops!!! Like you said, what odds on him lewaving soon, probably with the words "This job's too big for me", just like every other job he's had
