Our season is starting just like last season! Kick off with a draw, then follow up with seemingly endless 1-0 wins, before exploding big style!

Hi guys, just a quick question for One United members. Me and my OH are thinking of becoming members to get some home tickets to a United game but the official website says that members have to enter a ballot in order to get tickets but that would mean that is possible that my OH might get a ticket but i wont?! Is this right? I mean how does a Dad take, for example, his two sons to a game every week if it is one ticket for one member and they cant buy any other tickets?

Does Scholes miss the next European game after his sending off?
Sure Man U will have enough cover to cope.
Daft indeed though and I expect Sir Alex's hairdryer is being used tonight.

Super Cup regulations Article 18.0 As a rule, a player who is sent off the field of play is suspended for the next match in a UEFA club competition. Just looked it up, Super. Yeah daft isn't one of the words I shouted at me tv last night. Hope they all got the hairdryer treatment bar Tevez (who was phenomenal imo) Evra and Vidic. *14th April 1999 Villa Park*

I see Saha's gone to Everton on a play to pay deal. Makes sense I guess given his fitness history! Excellent deal for the Toffees I think. *14th April 1999 Villa Park*

Sorry lea27 I can't help, bet one of the others can though. Failing that, your best bet is to ask on the message board over on the website. Good Luck *14th April 1999 Villa Park*

I'm hoping we can't go wrong with the Saha deal, seems to be based on an apps/goals payment arrangement up to the value of £1.5m. Which coincidentally, is the amount Utd owed us from the trophy wins last season as part of the Rooney deal....

After last nights performance can't wait till Ronaldo gets back in the team.
Interesting some of the commentators comments about Nani needing an end product, they said that about Ronaldo a couple of years ago and he was playing very similar then to what Nani is now.
Gary neville could use practising his crossing, I kept thinking he sure isn't Beckham.
Also Anderson has obviously got loads of talent, just seems he needs to calm down a bit and improve his accuracy and use his energy in bursts. He spends to long running round like a mad thing.
OK scholes shouldn't have done is Marradona, but hey if he was a few inches taller and could have got his head on it, beat the keeper alright.
All ia all I think the biggest problem for most of the game was we could keep the ball long enough and win it back quickly enough, could have done with more defensive minded midfield.

If it's based on appearances, we ain't gonna get much money from the deal!!! Louis Saha is almost singehandedly responsible for keeping all of Greater Manchester's orthopaedic surgeons in employment for the last 4.5 years!!! It's a shame, because he is a terrific player! It's just a shame that he is made out of balsa wood!

Just guessing here, and using my 30 years experience of attending games, but I would say that they would treat all applications as an application, if that makes any sense!! what I am trying to say is that you would send a form in with the amount of tickets you want for a particular game. They will then rummage away in the postbag and pull out an application for say, 4 tickets or, in your case Lea, 2. They'll then find a place in the ground that has that amount of seats next to each other and allocate accordingly. After all, I am guessing that not too many people who want tickets for a game as a one-off, or on a non-regular basis, will be going on their own, but attending with family, friends or mates. If someone does go on their own, I would guess they are season ticket holders. Just a guess but I hope it helps. Good luck

We have the same issue with James Vaughan so as long as they can arrange to only be injured at different times to each other, we should be ok.

Well done Man U, Berbatov will be a great addition to the squad. Can't see Ronaldo going to Man City though even if their new owners are willing to pay $240,000,000. I am quite happy Robinino went to city though, chelsea must be gutted. I bet city might even hijack any move Chelsea make for Kaka

Yes well done indeed! So looking forward to seeing him (Berbatov) play. Think he'll fit in so well. *14th April 1999 Villa Park*

I'm just wondering if the acquisition of Berbatov will affect the way United play. I know he's not a target man in the old-fashioned sense, but he's got the build to play as one. I think he's going to be a good buy and, if anyone can coax his sulky nature out of him, Ferguson can
