boro unlucky not to win that, with all the boots to face lately he should of been allowed to protect his face, but it is manu and a penalty was certain!

What a load of cr*p. He managed to duck his head down yet managed to raise both hands up to stop the ball. Can't be any complaints with that. As for penalties - where was Rooneys when he was shoved over?!?!

This is beginning to get like the old BBC 606 MB's.

They used to be great. Each club had it's own MB, plus there were international, European, Premieship etc MB's to post on.

The boards (especially the United board) started to drown in drivel as all the haters would just flood the board with bile.

The BBC had to kill it off in the end & the 606 MB is dire now.

It's not even an MB anymore, just a heavily pre-moderated area for posting articles that may or may not appear.

you just assume some are haters just cos we make a comment of some sort, i bet i show more passion for manu more than their own fans do when they play in something like the champions league, there was more of an atmosphere in our pub than old trafford, yet none of us support manu, says it all really.

I think you misunderstand me; I don't care about people making negative comments about United, that's par for the course. My gripe is about people who just come to start arguments for arguments sake.

It used to happen on the 606 site all the time, so much so, that the BBC had to shut it down.

There are some people on here who just come on to say things like, I hope Lille beat you & all that.

What's the point in that?

As a United fan, I cannot stand Liverpool, but I would never dream of going on a Liverpool supporters thread to say I hope you get beat or you are rubbish etc.

Fair & honest criticism by all means, but needless insults & jibes are not necessarry.

Hear Hear. Spot on. They only reason *England* came on here was to gloat - absolutely pointless. I used to part of the old 606 so i know exactly what you mean, wasn't worth posting in the end.

Banter's banter, but don't come on here with the aim of causing arguments.

Based on the first half, i thought we wrap it up in the second...

The replays a bit of an inconvenience but i'm confident we'll finish the job at Old Trafford. Boro had their best chance to kill it yesterday.

I think we had our chance yesterday its a tough ask to win at Old Trafford but we have a decent record there in recent times. United are head and shoulder the best team to have visited the Riverside this year but im glad we have kept our good home record going and furthur enhanced the Riverside as a tough place for any team to visit.
