I was watching with two Spurs fans, and said the same thing. A couple of goals on the break, when Watford were promising to do the same thing?
Yours went in. Theirs didnt, but for attacking play, the Hornets were the ones pushing forward more in the second half. Yes they needed to, but like I say, for a neutral watching the second 45, Watford looked like the better team

We gave them a game at least until the final 15 mins when the class and control told.

We had nothing to lose so just went out to attack rather than sit back and hope...not that we are good enough to do that!

Great performance by the Boro but once again a ref bottles it at Old Trafford, I thought we were the better team and fully deserved what we got and old trafford continues to be a good place for the boro to go.

Yep! The twelve man plucky Man Utd. just managed to hold out. I have never known an area so wound up before a game. Let's face it the team wouldn't have been allowed back if they had not put up a good show.
I don't feel as though we dealt a mortal blow but it still feels good. There is nothing like being cheated out of the cup to get you going.

I never said anything about winning everything. As for bailing us out - you can predict the future now can you? Who's to say we wouldn't have gone on to win all ours whilst Chelsea dropped points.. ? I knew Chelsea would drop points eventually.. didn't realise it'd be so soon.....

Normally a 3-2 home result would be a bit of a disaster in a 1st leg European tie, but in this instance, I am confident we can do this.

We finished stronger than them & Kaka apart, I didn't see anybody in their team that really scared me.

Gattuso & Maldini were class, but Maldini especially is 500 years old, so he cannot last a full hard 90 minutes.
