There's no point in getting rid of Rafa this season. LFC have just got to try and secure 4th place and go on a good cup run. FA Cup and Champions League are still possibilities. Better to wait till the summer to assess the situation. I still believe Liverpool are only about three world class players away from competing consistently with the best. But will any money be available...?

i agree capt, i mean as a liverpool fan myself the frustration is unbelieveable right now, to say we are poor is an understatement, however arsenal and man utd aint where they are today through changing there managers every 5 mins, he needs a chance, however i wish someone would point out to him that his rotation system is clearly not working, it isnt difficult

Getting rid of Rafa at this point, would be the end of their season I think.
I personally can't see the problem, theyre a game in hand 7th with 40pts, behind Evertons 4th place 43 pts. Also, still in with a chance (tho it ain't gonna happen!!! ) of FA and Champ victories.

Bugger, what happened there? I came over all nice!
its just dire there at the moment - period such a shame for the fans, no club deserves these times
personally cant see them winning anything
however i think they will do 4th place - and how bad do i feel saying 4th

The fans havent given up on him, but the owners might
tbh as a fan i am sick of the situation - it has gotten in the way of the football and obviously that is obvious by the performances and lack of confidence we clearly have at the mo

Sorry, but I disagree. Liverpool fans have been talking about the 'missing piece of the jigsaw' for over about 15 years now. We have had Bruno Cheyrou, Morientes, Torres... they were just some of the 'missing pieces'. If anything, Liverpool are further away from winning the title than they ever have been - this is compounded by the rate of improvement shown by United, Chelsea and latterly Arsenal.
If you added three world class players to any of the top 10, they would compete with the best. Everton for example:
Howard Alves Yobo Lescott Baines Ronaldo Fernandes Essien Cahill Arteta Yakubu
For me, that team would challenge for the title.
I think you could almost say the opposite about the current Liverpool in that if you took away the three top players - say Gerrard, Torres and Mascherano/Alonso they wouldn't even make Europe.
I hope this doesn't come across as an anti-Liverpool attack from an Everton fan. I would think that a lot of what I have said would be accepted by Liverpool fans, certainly a lot of Pool fans I have spoken to agree that without Torres and Gerrard this season they would be in big trouble.
