Watched today's game on live streaming.

Not alot to add to what has already been said. A good solid start to the season for Inter, 3 goals for The Emperor who will finish as Cappocaniere this season unless he does'nt get injured like last season Smile

New signings looked solid. Figo had a tidy game without contributing alot, his passing is impressive, it would of been nice if he got a debut goal but he ballooned a good opportunity over the bar after Cambiasso's hard work.

Pizzaro played an excellent cameo role when he came on as a sub and majestically set up Adriano's third, I think he may prove to be our best signing this season... maybe he should start ahead of Veron?

Cesar looked decent in goal but did'nt have alot to do, I think we will get an idea of how much of a good goalie he is when we play some of the bigger sides.

What pisses me off is that when the season starts, and Inter play a good peformance like today, they all split up for international duty and we dont have a game for about 10 days Mad

Sick of saying this every season but it might just be Inter's year to win something, the strength in depth is impressive and maybe Juve will be concentrating more on European games than in Serie A.

Forza Inter Smile

Good win for Inter, it was draws against teams of this calibre last season that really cost the team the title.

What a debut for Figo. Smile

Peruzzi makes Scotch trip

I don't think Inter Bhoy will appreciate that title.

For reasons that are too complicated and trivial for this forum I didn't make the ticket office yesterday.

But I will be in contact tomorrow at some stage, even if just a phonecall.

What I need to know is how many folk are looking for Inter section tickets at Ibrox so I can give them an idea (assuming they don't just say "contact Inter").

Campioni d'Italia 06-07

I love Inter for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death us do part.

Inter.it shows highlights of the games, and everything seemed very pleasing this afternoon at the Meazza.

Pizarro seems a very exciting prospect, a wonderful azione to set up Adrianos final goal.

Figo produced a moment of sheer magic and wonder, pulling a series of feints and shimmies and stepovers which brought loud appreciation from the San Siro crowd.

More, much more of that please! The prospect of such play on the right wing in partnership with Capitan Zanetti and his slaloms and dribblings is exhilerating indeed.

Just listening to Juve 1-0 Chievo which is all over now, meaning Inter are top of Serie A and L'Imperatore is capocannoniere!

Ubriacante!

Very happy, it is

Been a member for a while here but not posted much, thats going to change this season.

Great start by the boys today, L'Imperatore looks in good form already. Also thought Veron,Zanetti,Il Cucho and Figo were good as well as Pizzaro when he came on.

Mancio seems to have great faith in Julio Cesar as well, hope he's right.

BTW, I'm a Glasgow based Inter fan, so will be looking for a ticket for the Ibrox game as well. Be nice to get as many of us together as possible to get to the game. Just hope we can get the tickets from Ranger rather than going through Italy.

FORZA INTER

Have just phoned Rangers ticket office and was informed that as per normal tickets for the away end would be allocated to the visiting club who would then sell them. So it looks like we would need to approach Inter themselves to secure tikets. Does anyone think the Inter Club London might be able to "bag" some tickets for UK based Inter supporters? Anyone got any contacts there?

Started back at work today. Have had to log in on the office computer . . . . jees what a beaut of a day to return to the humdrum reality of salaried employment! At least I've got access to the Forza Inter forum at work now to stave off the impending doom of management cock ups and administrative overkill.

C'e solo Inter . . . work sucks. Frown

View from Sector 243: I know it was 'only' Treviso but... Smile We played really well for at least 80% of the game, which is a marked improvement from last year when teams like this would give us a hard time and we would only draw. Obviously Adriano was deservedly man of the match but most of the team played significant parts. Cambiasso didn't put a foot wrong, as usual; Veron was excellent; Il Capitano secure; Materazzi and Cordoba dominant; Cesar had nothing to do, which was almost a shame because we don't know how good or otherwise he is; someone else has posted that Figo was just ok. Not so, he was very impressive. In fact I was genuinely surprised about how much effort (and skill) he put in. He is no Rivaldo. Good crosses and he seems to just glide past players. But my favourite player, even though he had only a 20 minute cameo was David Pizarro. This guy is going to be phenomenal. He made Adriano's third goal by waltzing past 5 Treviso players and laying it on a plate. Whenever he gets the ball he is looking to do something. He creates space for himself out of nothing with a little shimmy or turn. A little downturn in play from Veron and he won't get his place back.

Now the not so good: Recoba started the game like a train, ended up fading away for the whole of the second half. Maybe he's not match fit, but neither was Figo, allegedly. This has to be make or break season for him. And Javier went off injured minutes before the end. We will lose him for a month at least Frown. Who do we have to replace him? Pierre Wome? I hope not.

All in all, a good day's work. Let's continue.
