Shame about Genius/El Greco. He was a good little player, feisty and dependable. I suppose with Cambiasso, and C.Zanetti as back up, he was surplus to requirements. He will do well at Benfica.

Good luck to Karagounis. He was a good player, underrated in my opinion.

The star of Euro 2004 with his rasping shot in the first game.

Forza Genius!!!

He won't take this news very well. I fear the worst. Big Grin

And it's 'Ciao ciao. Non sbattere la porta in uscita.' to Andy Van Der Meyde who's off to Everton. Sincerest condolences, Chuckie.

One good goal against the 'erse and a whole load of anonymity. Won't be missed.

Just question for Inter Club London members. Would there be any benefit it me joining because I live in Leeds and cannot get down to London easily?

Yes, join. It's not like we travel in a group. In fact I don't think most of them have even been to the San Siro. But if you need tickets for a game it would be wise to be a member.

Do they get them cheaper or just get you them without the hassle of doing it for youself?

Obviously I would like to go for a drink in that bar in London that shows the Italian games but I'll have to make do with my illegal european cable.

Me and my mates are planning to got to the Milan derby next year (in easter it is). We're looking at booking with ATP sports, who sort out flights, hotel and tickets. It'll cost us about £200 for 3 nights in Milan.

We used them last year when we went to see Barcelona and they were good. I was wondering whether it would be cheaper to try organise it by yourself?

Absolutely.

I've got a flight to Rome on the 8th October for $38 return, acommodation was 110 for 3 night. Unfortunately there is an international break, but the ticket wouldn't be more than 25.

Might be worth noting that the 110 for the room I mentioned is for two, but I'm travelling alone. 55 each is bloody great!!

Check out the usual (Ryanair, Easyjet etc) and also Octopustravel.com for your room, used them loads and they are very, very good.

There's plenty on this thread who have been plenty times and I'm sure will give you the benefit of thier (wonderful) experiences.Ex pats InterJambo and Inter Bhoy, Black n Blue and Chuckie to name but a few.My advice would be to steer clear of the "Specialist Footy Trip Firms" ...they really try to rip the arse out of you.
From my experiences last season .I went twice .Fiorentina with mates and wives and Siena on my jack (well actually met up with IJB ,BnB and IB ).
To fly RyanAir from Liverpool was £24.99 return including taxes, top Hotel near Centrale Station £35 per night (and negotiable) .Tickets from the ticket office outside the ground 27 euros for section 240 (thats where most of this threads members head for).As for your beer budget...well Milan can be as dear or as cheap as you like .A beer in the "Autogrill Bar" on the Duomo blobs you for only 3 euros...Not bad eh ?
My second trip was a real exercise in what I call F.F.T.F.M ...Standing for "Future Footy Trip Financial Management".A a result of this I'm hoping to do six trips this year...
If you need any more help email me on NUDGER20459@aol.com.

Hope I've helped

Thanks a lot nige. I think we've decided to go with getting everything seperate rather than book with the specialist firm. Last year we asked for grade 2 seats at the Nou Camp, got grade 3 and were ripped off £20. They sent it back to us after the holiday but it would have been nice to get the seats we asked for.

Thinking about travelling over for the Sampdoria v Inter game on Sat 30th Oct/Sun 31 Oct. Will be my 1st away game. Also have tickets to go and see Milan-Juve that weekend if I want to Mad

Do you think the 2 games will be on different days? It's Inter v Porto on Tue 1 Nov & Milan play on 1 Nov also away...Juve play on Wed 2 Nov.......does this mean all 3 will play their Serie A games on Sat 30 Oct?

Anyone else be going to this match? Train seems to take about 1.5hrs from Milan. Anyone know the process for getting tickets for the game? I have a season ticket.....

Any advice appreciated Cool

Pa'Dee, if that's the case then we could be 90% sure both games will be on the Saturday with Samp v Inter the 6 o'clock game in the evening. You won't get to both.

Genoa is about 1.5 hours by train and I'm sure tickets could be procured this end. Bear in mind that away supporters get held back and I believe Jambo said it was well over an hour last time. There's a wee bit of friction between Samp and Inter and always seems to have been. Mancini's coming to Inter has fanned the flames a bit. Otherwise, you'll have a great time. Send us a postie.
