Glad you had a great weekend!
Can't understand why one of your own Ultras would take a swing at you so you probably did the right thing by sitting in our library section of the ground. I'm pleased to hear our security on the turnstiles used common sense as well.
It was a good win for you, I'm still nervously looking over my shoulders at what lies below us, there may just about be enough teams who are worse than us. If Brescia can stay up then I think next season will be a good platform for you to carry on up the league. If we stay up, I hate to think what will happen if we carry on in this sort of form.

Like i said mate - My italian is crap Think he thought that we were just a bunch ogf English up for trouble and I could not understand a word he was saying He was round your end earlier before the main brescia fans came in, one of the lads recognised him, as eyeing us up whilst we were having a beer So without colours i think it was a case of - you were sitting drinking with the Bologna fans so you must be English Bologna and he wasn't having any of it I know the points differnece is not massive - but you have so many teams below you at least two will mess up

We're in serious trouble. Today was just miles short of what we're capable of and again I have to point the finger at the manager. We're the most boring, unimaginative team in Serie A bar none.

Have to admit it does not look good Level points with Brescia - Siena almost certain to win vs Atalanta, but Parma I think will win this weekend which leaves you only to worry about our result at Fiorentina If we get a point and you do not win it could be disaster .... but I hope we both win

I think Bologna will beat Sampdoria. Udinese are all but certain to beat Milan reserves who will either be tired from celebrating or on a massive downer (hopefully the latter )

well, I hope so. If we do go then we're in massive trouble. The only good thing will be the sale of top-earning flops like Zagorakis and the implementation of a younger, refreshing breed. But we should do that regardless of our status come 5.00pm on Sunday.

On the sports news today, they were saying that Bologna were the team that put Sampdoria down in 1998/99 with a last minute equaliser at the Dall'Ara. The current Samp team won't remember that but the fans will. Maybe not so easy to call then.

Yeh, that's right. It was Montella's last game for Samp. The damage had been done long before they played us but we still condemned them to Serie B with a game or two to spare. And when we went to Genoa that year we gifted Palmieri an equaliser in a 1-1 draw, Lee Sharpe was playing for Platt's Samp team and Channel 4 covered it.

I wonder what the future holds for Carletto Mazzone? He's bound to be leaving this summer.

I wish him all the best if he does go. I can't imagine him calling time on his coaching career though, it's not in his nature and that's one of his very good qualities. I envisage he'll take the reigns at another struggling club.

We deserve to go down. Our recent form has be nothing short of turd.

Drowning the old sorrows, eh FB? Sorry to see you go but you must feel let down after such a hammering yesterday.
Thanks to the Sicilian for his kind words too. You lost a good manager this week which is a shame.
I think our slide has to be down to the poor tactics of Mazzone and persistence in poor players. As well as the humiliation of relegation there are financial considerations to take into account. Coming back up will be no easy task for either ourselves or Parma because we'd have to trim our expenditure further in order to balance the books.

If Bologna do go down, do you think Pagluica will stay? Hasn't he played every game in Serie A for Bologna over the last few years? He has proved he is one of the best keepers in Italy and would surely be a decent buy for some club, if only for a couple of years.

If he has any desire to finish off a glittering career then he'll move on regardless. He's an ever-present and true sportsman in every sense of the word. He can still be in Italy's squad for me and he's a likeable guy so we'd be trying to keep him. His loyalty to us so far has been first rate.

I wish this damn playoff game would hurry up, my nerves are worn as it is.
I just wonder whether Gila's absence from Azzurri duty this week is because he has this game in mind. We're fudged if he comes into the game refreshed.

Come on Bologna, send Parma down where they belong. Think of all those poor folk defrauded by Calisto Tanzi and his cronies while they used funds they didn't have to play with their football club toy. FORZA BOLOGNA!!
