So how do you get your dish to get Hotbird? cheers.
Different options - simply and extra dish and an extra receiver decicated to Hotbird (say £300); or a multi-LNB dish in place of your Sky dish (and a new receiver) which can recieve Hotbird (Rai, etc), Astra (German) and Sky - I chose this option for £550; finally a motorised satellite for picking up all available satellites East and West for lots of free footie including Premiership (say £800).
The cheapest would be to re-align your Sky dish to 13 degrees East and just get a new receiver (£100). Problem is, when you want to watch Sky you need to move your dish back again, so it's not really a practical option.
I'm happy with my current setup, there are quite a few free channels, although live football is scarce without expensive or dodgy decoders. There is Serie B live on Saturday afternoons, and various German channels show the odd Champions League match. Ard 1 has a good Bundesliga highlights package on Saturdays after 5pm. Unfortunately Rai lost the Serie A highlights package over the Summer, but I live in hope they'll get it again sometime.

http://knplogic.com/sport/index.htmlFTA stuff on 13E is what you're looking for with Hotbird. FTA stuff on 19E is on the German Astra satellite I also have. FTA stuff on any other satellite needs a motorised dish (or a single dish dedicated to that satellite, but that works out more expensive). All non-FTA needs a decoder of some sort, and they vary widely in cost, type and legality.
