Looks like an up and down season.
I've only managed one match so far(Modena), first half played well second half absolutely dire. I'm afraid this could be a running theme this season

Wow, a fellow comrade! Welcome!

Haven't seen much action this season, do you like the shape of the team and who are the weak players?

To be honest after only seeing one game so far it would'nt be fair to say who are the weak players especially as they picked up a good few points the following weeks.
Hopefully another 3 points tonight against Verona, and saturday was just a blip.

Do you live in the UK? Do you get over often?

ARRRGHHH, the kiss of death has been put upon us at Verona.

I do live in England but for this season I'm living out in the U.S. Don't get to many matches sadly, I was at the Delle Alpi in 2002/03 when we got a 1-1 draw and at the Dall'Ara when we drew 0-0 to Livorno back in February. Hopefully will be available for more matches when I return from the U.S. if not for the quality of football then at least to see more of the Peninsula.

Judging by your name, am I right in thinking you're from Scotland?

Looks like Adailton done the damage last night.

Yes I'm from Scotland, there is about 6 of us from Motherwell who go over for the matches. We've been going over for the last 3 seasons. Hopefully I'll get back over in November.

Good stuff, we really need guys like you with your great support. Wish the players would acknowledge it from time-to-time by putting in the odd decent performance every dozen games or so.

Nice day out in Turin, a wonderful city and a 0-0 draw with Torino who have been on a roll whilst we've been losing. For once, I'm not moaning.

FT Bologna [4 - 1] Vicenza

30' [2 - 0] C. Bellucci

63' [3 - 0] F. Pecchia

78' [3 - 1] D. Drascek

Goodness knows why Bellucci decided to stick with us when he can easily play at a higher level.

I dont believe i have been reading Football Italia for 4 years and have never seen the forum! Glad to see that Bologna have a board. So are there many Rossoblu fans here? We are a dying breed outside Bologna!

There's about two of us in total and the occasional apt contribution from a die-hard Brescia fan. Welcome!

The big game approaches. Bologna have gotta pull out a big performance here, cos we are dropping off the pace. We cant afford to loose any more ground. Fingers crossed. Do any of you guys get over to the games at all? I was a season ticket holder for last three years but alas I had to move on.

More than 2 - I just don't contribute much !

DId you know that Rai show a Serie B match every Saturday afternoon Live, and also the goals from al other B matches played at the same time. Though they do seem to have a fixation with Torino. All you need is a dish pointing at Hotbird ....

Different options - simply and extra dish and an extra receiver decicated to Hotbird (say £300); or a multi-LNB dish in place of your Sky dish (and a new receiver) which can recieve Hotbird (Rai, etc), Astra (German) and Sky - I chose this option for £550; finally a motorised satellite for picking up all available satellites East and West for lots of free footie including Premiership (say £800).

The cheapest would be to re-align your Sky dish to 13 degrees East and just get a new receiver (£100). Problem is, when you want to watch Sky you need to move your dish back again, so it's not really a practical option.

I'm happy with my current setup, there are quite a few free channels, although live football is scarce without expensive or dodgy decoders. There is Serie B live on Saturday afternoons, and various German channels show the odd Champions League match. Ard 1 has a good Bundesliga highlights package on Saturdays after 5pm. Unfortunately Rai lost the Serie A highlights package over the Summer, but I live in hope they'll get it again sometime.

For a full list of what's out there, check http://knplogic.com/sport/index.html
FTA stuff on 13E is what you're looking for with Hotbird. FTA stuff on 19E is on the German Astra satellite I also have. FTA stuff on any other satellite needs a motorised dish (or a single dish dedicated to that satellite, but that works out more expensive). All non-FTA needs a decoder of some sort, and they vary widely in cost, type and legality.

So, Ulivieri goes and some dude who bossed Atalanta last year comes in. At least he's younger and proves that this (Ulivieri) was the most pointless appointment ever.
