The last two years didnt make any sense because of a certain Mr Gazzoni and his lack of spending. Cazzola now has proved that he is willing to spend to get us back in Serie A. He offered 3 Million for Godeas, and the last time Bologna had 3 million to spend was in the mid 90's! Cazzola was responsible for the basketball team Virtus Bologna winning the Euro cup. Anything is now possible I believe.

Also bear In mind that we are only 8 points off the play-off's!

The Modena game was live on Rai last Saturday. Instead of me writing a match 'report', just read back through old posts - dull, dire, one-dimensional, no-one but Bellucci likely to score, etc, etc.

This is really poor stuff. Modena had a goal ruled out for a very dodgy offside decision midway through the 2nd half, and towards the end Pagliuca saved us with a great save. We had no attacking play worthy of the mention.

Plus points. There was a really big away support.

3-1 against Brescia, just the tonic!

Bracey Brescia had 70% of the play but failed to create suffceint chances - Penalty was a definate leaving the ref with no choice other than to show red, from then on it was game rover.

Still the food in bologna was as good as normal.
