Topic restored...in this s***e all. Don't know what's going on with forums this days... Also the one in Piacenzacalcio website was closed (for crap reasons). It moved on a new one that looks exactly the same as this in www.piacenzacalcio.com
The old ch4 one was much better though Let's try to keep discussions up though and see what happens.

Not next Wednesday, but the Wednesday after that - between the away Como game and the home game against Empoli. I'm still undecided about going to Como - don't want to drive, so I may have to brave the Ultra...!
C'mon Ivano, go to Como. It'll be good! Like you who'll manage to see three Piace games in one week! Will you still be posting from Italy? If you go with the lads may be you can bring my regards to some people. Let me know.
Saturday we play in Europe....! Only Lugano though...
I don't really fancy the drive to Como, and I don't really fancy being stuck on a coach with the Ultra! You forget that I know a lot of them! Nah, I couldn't stop at every Auto Grill with them. Hopefully I can twist my non-very-Piace-fan cousin to drive up there. Besides, he has Tele+, so I may just watch the game at his house.
Yeah, we play Lugano on Saturday - the Ultra have even organised a coach for that! No Maresca, Hubner or Guardalben though.
There has been no decission on how many games Darione will have to miss - I wouldn't think it will be more than 1, although you never know: it's Piace, not Juve...
Anyway, a good 3-1 win at Lugano (Caccia, Montano and Di Francesco, after we went behind) and a good performance all round, by all accounts.
Could be nice to see Obolo playing in Como, may be in the second half... Did you see the Italy game last night? I couldn't watch it as the bloody wind of the last two days up here moved the dish loosing the signal. Got to get it sorted by next sunday! It will be atough game on Wales and may be the last one for Trapattoni. I hope the new Manager will pick some biancorossi up (Cardone Lamacchi Maresca) and give to Hubner a kind of career award...
Italy were dire, and what makes it worse is that Trap keeps coming out with all this rubbish about "well, that's Italian football for you"! No, that's Trapattoni football! We were lucky! Trap just has to pick Maresca next time - at least he gets stuck in more than Doni, and is more skillful than Gattuso. I think Wales will beat us, that, or we may hang on for a draw. It will be close.
Caccia and Montano played against Lugano and linked well. They will probably start against Como. I don't think Obolo will start, also because he missed a couple of sitters on Saturday. The Gazetta today are comparing the way we played against Lugano to "un po' Real"! Bloody hell! Real Madrid! Looks like they have just realised that we play a 3-5-2 and not the 4-4-2 that they always say we do.
Montano scored a great goal but Agostinelli was still having a go at him for being lazy. Our manager says that he has to shout at the lad sometimes "rimane innamorate di se" and thinks "come sono bravo", "come sono bello" and forgets he is playing as part of a team! He's only 19, so will learn.
Yes, it's only 19...but I hope he'll learn quickly. It's a shame to see such a talented player not playing for the team. I'm a bit worry for Como as I don't really trust Caccia. Too...napoletan! If you know what I mean...
Hope to get the dish fixed by Wednsday to see our poor national team. Maccarone was called in. How is he doing in the Premier League? I don't really follow it.
Spoken to Gordon today. He can't get access to this forum. Something about approval...not too sure. I thought we could move to piacenzacalcio.com as there is a "foreigners" section. What do you think?
I can reply now so its. It took ages to get confirmation through. I have to say i'd be surprised if Wales beat Italy. The situation in Italy cant be that bad if Trap doesnt think he needs to pick Lamachi.
I think the Scotland team would be full of Piace players if they were eligible. Even Caccia would have a chance of a game- too Aberdonian?
Bloody freezing in PC! Won't be going to the Como game (don't think). Will wait until Wednesday to go an see Agostinelli's boys. Going in to town tomorrow so I hope to go and see the la, ds train (if it stops raining that is!)
You are a lucky man Ivano- unlimited access to Gatturnio for a week. Be interested to hear what Agostinelli's style in training is like.
Novellino appeared to be very meticulous- lots of stopping and starting to issue instructions to the players- probably par for the course with the tactical italian game.
I have to sat i prefer Agostinellis more attcking tactics- am hoping Piace can keep collecting points with it.
No a great game... Without Hubner and Maresca we are an average team between those fighting to avoid relegation. And a point gained in Como is a good achievement. Didn't like Marcolin and didn't like Cristante on the wing. Sorry for Campagnaro who didn't even find a place on the bench. Surely he will have his chance again on Wednsday. We need Maresca to recover quickly if we want to watch again some good play.
Hello! Finally have access to a PC in PC! 2 Euros for 30 minutes - I know what my next career move is.
Saw the Como game in a bar on Tele+ - didn't go in the end, and thank Dio! What a load of rubbish! Without Maresca we are lost! Just no idea in midfield. Spotted in training that Cristante was being groomed to play on the wing - looked more like a 4-4-2 on the training field though - and it was a waste. I guess it was worth a try though. Marcolin looked really good in training, but just didn't play well during the game.
We do, however, need Enzo back asap! Went to the ground again today - big worry: still no Maresca! Darione was there, scored a few goals in the in-house friendly.
I too was surprsied that Campagnaro didn't play. Patracsu can't speak a word of Italian yet, so I don't think he will ever start a game with us, and I'm sure he will be sold on soon. He doesn't have any confidence at all when the ball is passed to him in training, let alone during a match!
I don't know - enough of this! Time to call it a day as my credits at the Internet cafe are running down! Forza Piace - we need the win on Sunday against Empoli.
starting to feel edgy about the lack of wins recently. hopefully the side (makeshift or not) can step it up a gear and get the three points this sunday.
