We will play Juventus in a friendly on August 16, at Villar Perosa: Juventus usually play a "Juve A v Juve B" friendly there, but I guess ther fear they won't have 22 players, so they have invited us instead. A sort of honour, I guess.
Hi Davide, back in Italy yet? Presumably you already know about out Coppa Italia exit? We didn't play well at all against Messina, and were even lucky to get that far, scraping a 4-3 win against 10-man Grosetto with just 2 minutes to go...!
Perhaps we are just going to concentrate on the league...!
Poor start to the season, not so much the result (defeat away to Brescia is more or less predictable!) but the performance was dire and I don't know what has got into Cacia (thwoing his toys out of the pram like that!)
Napoli next... without Cassano, Campagnaro and Cacia! Help!
You got your season ticket yet Davide? Is the "buy one get one free" offer still open? Have you got it earmarked for anyone...?
Lucky with the first goal (Coppola error) and heads dropped at 2nd (seconds before half time). Losing to Juventus isn't really going to make much difference to our season - we will still finish just one place off the play off places.

lol, i remember constantly reading this thread but never posting, cause i didn't want to break the 2 man show. If i remember correctly, you guys were disappointed with Ianchini, whats your feelings for the man know???
Iachini has become a bit of a better manager, and now plays a 4-3-3 rather than a 4-4-2. But he fails to read games well, and is unable to spot substitutions that can change a game.
He is still learning, but not sure I'd really like him as coach of Piacenza next season. Perhaps he will move "home" to Ascoli...?
