Yeah its a shame no one else who supports Lecce is on here. . Dont really check the board that much for that very reason. What made u choose the great Lecce to support? I do because my family comes from there. U seen them play recently? Glad i wasnt there for the coppa defeat! Cant believe how rubbish we seem to do in it every year! Hopefully improve and win serie B!

hello there, at last a fellos lecce fan great to hear from you, lets hope we can get a few more here! I am a lecce fan because my father comes from a town near Otranto and so does my mother. my blood is of that region so i support Lecce. Its been a long time since i saw Lecce play so i hope to go there in september/october so i can make up for it. That coppa italia defeat whot the blazes was that, i hope its not a sign of things to come! Really pleased to see zemen back i hope he can get us in line again but it will be difficult as we dont have the top class players we had before. so my good friend where are you from i bet you know of Otranto
My grandfather comes from Tricase, he has lived in england for ages and my grandmother was english. I still have loads of relatives in Lecce so i can always go stay with them which is good. This last year i was studying in Siena so i got to see Lecce play five times. Vs empoli, siena and fiorentina away and the games against Treviso and Udinese in Lecce where we got relegated finally
Hopefully i can see Lecce play this year but will have to wait and see. Glad Zeman is back but our team isnt looking that strong. Vucinic has left or is leaving today at last, sad but knew he would go. Losing to Cavese was pretty shocking for a team just down from serie a, they are in serie c2!!
I know Otranto well, i have stayed near there a few times. The castello is really nice place to go on a summer evening.
whot i do not understand about our team, when we were doin well two seasons ago the board said there was no need to sell any players as the book were all balance etc and we had indeed made a profit. So whot do they do last season? sell players replace them with poor ones and bring in really bad managers whot were they thinking? not surprising we went down and know we are still suffering from it with the lack of talent. apart to zemen we are back to square one
I know, its annoying! Just as we were making progress they undo all the good work. I was hoping and praying to see us in europe by this season, but instead we are back in serie b! Really not sure if we have players of any quality at all this season which is worrying too. Will have to hope zeman performs a miracle! Want to be back in Seire A for the centenery year really. 2007-8 season.
I was studying Scienze Politiche. Bit boring sometimes but had a great year living in Italy. Really miss being there now

yes i agree with you. We had a great team and they ruined it. For crying out loud we were the talk of italy! The only plus points is we have zemen and our scouts are very talented in finding young players abroad so i hope during the season this will be the case because as you say our squad is not one that appeals. Not seen the new shirt but its not the sort of shirt i would wear to go shopping in, wow! the colours are very loud! Hey you sound a intelligent chap, you dont fancy joining the lecce board and sorting them out, we could sure do with it

Yeah they are good at finding new talent so maybe the new players will become very good. We can hope, and will find out next weekend when we kick off the league.
Your right about the kit, it is very bright, i just wear it to play in. Got a lecce hoodie which is brown, bit more wearable! Thanks for the board reccommendation i would love to do it. Maybe one day if i can make my fortune i can. Always good to have a dream anyway! Lecce in Champions league one day!
I would love to go back to italy soon, unfortunately the money isnt there so will prob be in feb. Hope to skii and catch an away match if i can. Got plenty of italian coursework coming up to keep me occupied before then!

I know whot you mean about the money. The situation does seem promising naw Prodi is in charge although his majority is so slim i doubt if much will change. Had no idea about the situation with Roma, yes it does sound good at last the board have done something good. Can you imagine Leece in the champions league? no not really as likely as italy winning the six nations rugby

The last time i saw them play was a long time ago and it was against Bari whot a game that was. Everyone talks about the northern derbys in italy well this one is as passionate as any of them. shame no one else but i noticed others have browsed this web so maybe others will come in for a chat. That would be nice. Fixture list looks bad for us for this month but we should get something against Albinolffe. the other games are in the lap of the gods. hope we play attacking football like before but then again with zemen he knows nothing else
Yeah would be good, maybe some fans of teams we are playing will come chat? Im praying for a good start, definately hoping to beat albinoleffe and get some draws at least against the others. I think we will be in the top 6 but that might not be good enough for serie a which would be a shame.
the start of the season will be critical for us i think, if we start well this i hope will carry us through the rest of the season. We must win that first game and well. its so tense just waiting
