I got put off at the filling in the personal information bit - I can't do all these forms you have to fill in every two minutes! Say yessss to lessss forms in life. I've seen friends messing round on theirs though - it doesn't look as good as myspace to me - on myspace you can put songs on and videos and write blogs and stuff like that - it just looked a bit boring really

I'm not a member of any of those sites. I don't really want anyone to know everything about my life. I'm sure this puts me in the minority. *Shrugs*

It amuses me that people think Myspace is better...in what sense? Of course you can 'blog' on Facebook, it's merely called a 'note' rather than a 'blog'. If you haven't worked that out, I don't think you've experienced the site for more than half a minute... Myspace is incredibly poorly designed - that's the reason its popularity is going down, and people are switching to Facebook.
It's main benefit is the photos - you can put more photos on there, you can arrange them into albums etc, and best of all you can tag people in your photos - something which Myspace doesn't have.
Facebook was designed for Uni students (as someone mentioned, it was better before it was 'opened up') so it's probably not as useful to those who aren't at Uni, but personally I find it's by far the easiest way to keep in touch with people.

Especially when the design is left in the hands of 99% of the population

Just like Bebo then. I'll admit facebook has grown on me and I rate it above Myspace but it won't ever top Bebo in my opinion.
