Vieri could have got zlatan's backheal without problem. If you are 6'3 it's not difficult.
Well it clearly is! What are you accusing him of? Not trying? You do talk shit sometimes.
Its a very good point and well made!
I say maybe to both Inzaghi and Vieri...before Iaquinta [sp?] and Cassano certainly! Gilardino, Toni, Totti and Del Piero are the first four [depending on injury ofcourse]...whether there is room for a fifth depends on Lippi
"Why do you take my statements with a papal seriousness?" "I don't want the virgin olive oil..."
Yes Del Piero should and will go to the World Cup. Inzaghi and Lucarelli should both be considered as both seem to be playing reasonably well, but in a world cup match who would you want really want in a position to score? Inzaghi is the answer of course. Cassano will go if he plays at Madrid, because there are few doubts about his quality. No to Vieri unless he drastically improves, but I don't see why people seem to hate him so much, for many a year he was consistently one of the best out and out forwards around. And how Giallorosso can blame Vieri for Italy's failure at the last two tournaments, I do not know. In his two world cups he was awesome, scoring a goal a match and carrying Italy's main goal threat, I think he can be let off for one dreadful miss. In 2004 he was dreadful, but Trapattoni should have recognised this, and Vieri could do nothing on Zlatan's goal.

I don't understand this. Does the accent not come from pronouncing the words? The brother of someone i know speaks perfect French, even the French think he is French.

Vieri (when speaking English) had/has a very definite Australian accent. Then, a few years ago, he suddenly started speaking English in a (pretend?) Italian accent. Which is all a bit bizarre.
But it doesn't really mean he shouldn't be in the World Cup squad. Well, he shouldn't be - not because of that, though. Inzaghi's on fire and at this rate, HAS to go.

I did the same thing during Euro 2004. Vieri was interviewed and he swore, saying "I don't geev a sheet". It was funny as heck in my opinion.
I admire Inzaghi the least of anyone in the world, trust me, but he does have a history of doing well in the Champions League and is doing well right now so presumably that qualifies him to be selected and irritate the whole world once more with his constant offsides.
The funniest accent I heard was on a Chinese friend of mine who had a Belfast accent. He would go around saying fook this, fook that the whole day and I used to fall about laughning my ar5e off.
I know a white bloke from the Caribbean someplace and he's got a proper accent, it's great, he says he gets stick though sometimes cos people think he's putting it on
Inzaghi shud definetly go to the world cup, he has dragged milan along in recent weeks and has bin the boost they have needed, but i have always tried recently to believe that vieri is still a good player but my resolve is weakening!
