Any chance of Cassano signing a contract extension? All i seem to hear is that he is unhappy...but with what? Money or opportunity?

You can't freeze out a player that we need to play and help the team go orward to grab that 4th spot. In the long run, money wise, that would hurt us more than giving Cassano a big raise. Just play him damit.

On another note to Roma tifosi, if our team sucks eggs again this year and is still in a bad position, would you blame Totti if he said he wanted to leave? I wouln't begrudge him. Maybe I am different from the other Romanisti, but he has showed tremendous faith in the city and the team, and at the age of 30, if he wants to sign with Inter, Milan, or Real for 3 years I would wish him well. He will still love Roma anyhow and has proved it

I wouldn't blame him if he really wanted to leave. I think we are very competitive because of him and one of the main reasons why some people still want to play for Roma is so that they can get the chance to play alongside Totti.

If after all that he's given us, all he asks for is one chance to see what it's like from another point of view, I would give him my blessings.

I dont think he would want to play against us and more than likely he would go abroad. Also I'm sure he would end up with a role in the organization inside Roma's ranks even after he retires.

That's what I think, but having said it all, the bottom line is still the same: Totti would rather win honors with Roma than with any other club

He did win one title for Roma - i would imagine that Roma owes Totti more than the other way around. I don't think Totti would leave though...otherwise he would have gone when the club first started having money problems...

Cassano left training om stretcher today... The club want him frozen out so i guess they have the perfect excuse now.

Going back to the Totti leaving thing......I support Arsenal and have done for many years. I hate to see influential players leave the club. As you will all be well aware, we sold Vieira, i'll say that again, Vieira, to juve this summer!

Shocked, angry, were some of the felings i felt at the time but theen realised that in the time he spent at the club he gave his soul, he gave everything, just like Totti hass been doing at Roma, yes? So, I thinnk it's very selfish to keep someone who has given so much to the club, let him go,(at the end of season), he will remain happy and hee will bee back after retirement! He is the club, the club lives in him, the same goess for Vieira!

As I said before, if he is healthy, still play him, then sell him in January. But for now, we need him if he can play. He still has a legal contract for services THIS YEAR and should play if able.
