Apparently we're preparing for serie b by looking into buying Kenny Miller from Wolves, which had me in hysterics!

We were terrible! the only two shots on goal were from Bovo! A defender who only played 25 mins! Montella and NOnda were no where to be seen... we've not scored an away goal this season... Chivu went off injured.. how can we win the derby like this??? Di Canio already started...holding up 7 fingers to the Curva nord as he went off...7 days til derby. we are not 5 points behind lazio as we where when we lost last season.

Casano already met with Milan last month...

Any news on Chivu's injury? Not that we could be any worse without him.
I hate Di Canio so much, but there won't be revenge next weekendFrown

How long before Spalletti begins to contemplate about a resignation?

I was thinking the same.. the fans will be behind the team for the derby...because its the derby...after that if we lose they will turn against the team and Spalletti.. it will 'SOLO LA MAGLIA' again.... im sure of it..

You'll have a chance to see where it's all going wrong next week, as the derby's live on Bravo.

I still can't get my head around Roma's poor form Confused

At least Spalletti is being realistic in his post-match comments and knows that there is a problem. Last year Gigi Del Neri was going on about how everything was all fine and dandy with the players and the match and the only thing wrong was the scoreline.

At least this coach admits that we're pretty much screwed. I think it's time to get something strong again to drink when I start seeing Roma matches. Red Face

With our talks for a contract extension breaking down for Cassano, these are a few predictions that might unfold. I'm curious to see if any of them take place

1) Roma do not make a U-Turn and do not go back to his agent. Roselia Sensi commands Spalletti not to include him in our deprived squad that is suffering.

2) People make fun of Cassano for being such a greedy gut and prophesize this demise as the reason for not making the national side in the world cup. Moggi of course will deny talks of signing him in January -"oh no, he's a great talent, but there's no way we will sign him. Look at our current squad! There is simply no room for him!"

3) After things go from bad to worse for Roma, and we're like in the relegation areas, Spalletti starts getting uncomfortable without Cassano's services but our acting president will still want him frozen out. Roma's supporters will start to protest to include him in our squad regardless of whether he signs or not.

4) Marcello Lippi mantains Cassano will not get in the Azzuri squad without first team action and suggests he might not feature in the world cup. People start getting worried. Cassano starts to look like the poor boy facing the injust Roma management team.

5) January comes. Moggi Sr. changes his stance, signs Cassano either on the first day of the window opening or the last hour (otherwise it would be unlike Juve). Cassano immediately makes the first team. He becomes excellent almost immediately and Lippi states "Well I never said he won't go to Germany..." He makes the national squad.

6) Cassano makes a point of making sure that he scores whenever he plays Roma. Totti starts his rants in january about leaving if we're not competitive during next season and the romanista have yet another reason to hate Juventus.

Keep tally of the scores Smile

I have to say I'm surprised by the results against Siena and Empoli because, when I was on holiday in Rome last month, the team were playing really well. I thought Spalletti had laid some good foundations in defence and there were signs of the forward line clicking with the hammerings of Aris and Parma.

I can't help thinking that Cassano maybe unsettling the squad and Rosella Sensi has done the right thing by freezing him out. Roma should announce right now that he will never wear the shirt again and then Spalletti and the squad can get on with life without him.

I still think Spalletti is the right coach for us and I hope he doesn't get the chop because of the current turmoil

At least you've not sacked a coach yet...you were through at least one by this time last season... Eek

Not turning up to watch your team in protest,I`m sorry I can`t relate to this behaviour. Not from either Roman team,I`m still disgusted about the abandoned derby that fans could do this to their club.

Why are Roma so rubbish, considering the players and manager they have. It makes no sense, but I suppose thats one of the good things about football.

Should also give Napoli a better chance of shock win in the Coppa.

as to why, well ineptness begins from the top of the club and soaks through the players. Roll Eyes
