GRANDE ROMA! Before the game it was like we were playing for lo scudetto... the atmosphere was amazing! The Ultras walked onto the running track with the biggest banner ever saying 'Like the number on your shirt...lead us into the 10th battle'.. It was very impressive...Totti then came over to greet all of them... The last minutes were so painful waiting for the final whistle..Panucci brought his son under the curva..they all stripped off their clothes and Spalletti finally came under the Curva! Bitter sweet victory though with Totti out for 2 months..
As for the match, Taddei was a complete waste of space and should have been taken off sooner, Doni made some good saves and Montella did not impress at all..i dont think he had a shot on goal the entire match...
Great victory yesterday to make it ten in a row. Now all we have to do is crush Nazio in the derby and take the record all to ourselves.
I hope our captain recovers quickly. But, I am sure we can continue winning without him, although it would have been easier with his vision and ability.
There was a collection in curva yesterday for the choreography for the Lazio and Inter games so we should be putting on a good display. I dont think we'll be winning 5-1... we will be lucky to win to be honest..we may be winning but we've not impressed in the last few games... there have not been any major riots at the Derby since the suspended match... the last 2 have been very quiet. But if we do win...11 wins a row will be amazing!

I was winding up Chuckie, who seems to be on a downer since Juve, regarding the result. A win by an own-goal will do fine.
I don't think Sunday will be quiet somehow. The last two games had nothing more than local pride resting on the outcome. This one is the most important derby game for a while.
Forza Roma

Very classy by Totti. He could have moaned and finally drilled home a point about oppossing defenders picking on him, but he has prevented the rest of the world from making Vanigli a scapegoat.
This rest should be good for him. He has been burdened by domestic responsiblities for a long time, and this time he will be free of pressure towards the time he recovers. Maybe this is his year. Maybe this is our year too after 2001.
Roma have sold out their tickets for the derby! Totti will apparently be at the stadium watching. The tifosi are preparing a surprise for the players at Trigoria on Saturday...think I might have to go along!

Yeah at least we admit there's a problem.
Why do you only post on the Roma thread? Bit lonely on Lazio thread?
no I didn`t see much fun in talking to myself on the Lazio thread besides people only read it when we play Livorno
as i`m going to Rome next weekend I was talking with a friend about how of course it`s great that spitty isn`t playing. You have to also realise that you miss an opportunity to see him play and he is part of all the good and bad times I`ve witnessed at derbies.
Thought I'd finally introduce myself and break my duck.
I leave for Rome in the morning and will be going to the Brugge game tomorrow and the big one on Sunday. Hopefully I'll manage to get a ticket near Curva Sud and jump across.
I haven't been to the Olmpico since 2003 and I'm gutted Totti is out injured - obviously for the team and also for selfish reasons as I wanted to see him play again.
