I am starting a Serie A fantasy league which will have some exciting features:
1. Participants will bid for players, hence one player will only be in one team - bidding process will be really exciting!! 2. Participants will face each other in a league format - ie its not about how many points you accumalate, but how did you do against your opponent each matchday 3. Transfer windows to allow bargaining between participants for players.

I am running this over another MB as well, and there is a cap on total number of participants (20, just like in Serie A).
This is going to be a very exciting competition, so sign up quick!!! Selection on first come first serve basis.
I will be posting the details of the competition later... The format in brief:
1. Everyone will have a budget of 100 Million (minimum bid is 1 Million)
2. There will be a bidding process for selecting a squad of 20 players, and 3 goal keepers from the total list of players in the Serie A this season.
3. After everyone has selected his/her squad, we will run a league with people going head to head with each other for the "Scudetto" and a KO event for the "Coppa"
4. For each matchday, you will have to select your starting XI and subs (incase your starting player does not play enough that matchday to get a rating). For simplicity, we will restrict everyone to a 4-4-2 formation on each matchday.
5. Points will be the average of your starting XI ratings out of 10, from one of the Italian websites (Gazzetta? I am looking for suggestions here). Or we can use the fantasy points from yahoosports. Lets take a call on that once everyone is registered, before we start the bidding.
6. In between we will take a weeks break during which you will have the chance to drop players from your squad (getting back the money you paid for them) and an additional budget of 5 Million, to purchase new players either from the available players list (via another bidding process) or via mutual exchange of players+cash.
It will be awesome fun, and a good test of your football manager skills. We plan to kick off the competition by the 17th of Nov. So the registration closes in a weeks time, everyone interested please sign up here.
