Italians say they have the world's best league? Well if 1 thing is for sure they need to update their stadia, firstly attendances are a big problem only do the Milan and Roman clubs manage to fill around 50% of their attendance up every weekend. Nearly on all the highlights show more vacant then used seats where as in the Premiership we have a lovely football atmosphere big attendances, no netting, no huge racist banners. 2. Italy needs to update its Studiums hopefully they will host 2012 Europe so they will have to once again in the premiership we have modern sporting facilities. 3. Advertising upart from the San Siro (electronic display board), Olimpico and Delle Alpi the advertising is a mess and looks tacky once again the premiership has orderly advertising around the pitch SO what is my point well Italians spend so much time in their apperance and their cities but their stadiums sure do brutta figura!

Yes I mentioned the attendance problem about a year ago but thought I would remind everybody as I watched the highlights yesterday. Reggina pitch was awful and hopefully the FIGC do something.

Si circa un'anno fa ho scritto su questo forum per quanto riguarda il numero dei spettatori nei stadi dopo ho visto la muviola devo dire che la Reggina deve essere punito per la qualita del tirreno di gioco.

Just off topic Big Grin

I watched a game lately with those animated advertising boards and it was bloody distracting. Every time it seemed someone ran down the wing that advert for the car zoomed down alongside him. Then a large flashing advert that filled up all the boards down the side came on.
I was motion sick for hours...

Electronic advertising boards are pain in the arse.

I must agree with Fab over the state of Reggina's pitch. That was shocking!

If you saw the san siro dressing rooms it would really upset you, dark green walls and a wooden bench the whole way round,... and the rooms would barely hold a squad of players,.. I'm not bitching but I would prefer to get changed on the away team bus and shower with naked ladies in the hotel after the game!

Where do all the phone numbers go when you delete them from your mobile?!

When ipswich were in the premier I used to have physio at the club and believe me i was shocked at the state of the changing rooms etc... so old and in bad condition.

The facilities at the roma training ground are fantastic.

Lets face it, it wouldnt be the italy we know and love if the stadiums were organised! I found it rather disturbing at the stadium this weekend..what with seat numbering, the odd steward hanging around and turnstiles at the Curvas.. These new regulations have cuts attendances even further. Dont forget that most stadiums over here are alot bigger than those in the UK.

FORZA ROMA!

English stadiums may be nice (but uncomfortable, the seats are squeezed togeather too tightly). But going to a match is too expensive.

Someone at work paid £70 to watch Spurs-Liverpool at the weekend. He told me it was a "category A" game and the cheapest ticket was £70. I might check the website to see if he wasn't blagging.

I'm paying £35 for the away section at Arsenal next week, just to watch us get thumped.

70 quid to watch bloody Tottenham? Jesus Christ. I suppose they've got to charge the earth for a ticket given the fact they've not qualified for the Champions League or won a trophy since the Middle Ages.

It's unlike me to have a go at Spurs because they always support us against Arse, but 70 quid is a scandal!

Irish Black Blue - you've a point about the San Siro dressing rooms. Quite remarkable.

When in Rome, do the Romans.
