Well we showed them what the games all about. Gang of pansies, rolling round the pitch every chance they got. The ref was an absolute disgrace - How he is still working in football is beyond me. Should have been 1 a peice as we frustrated them and they created sod all. As a fan of Italian football it a shame to see shevva in such dire form. He just looked disinterested until he was subbed, the rest of the team didn't fare better. Remarkable that a team costing millions scraped a goal against a team that is enjoying their first spell in the prem. Crowd were FANTASTIC once again, behind the team for every minute of that game....

i was born and raised in berkshire and readings fans are embarrassing, the usa chants say it all youll have ur season in the sun and then go back down where u belong so enjoy it while it lasts juventino reading could only pull decent crowds at elm park in the cup but no doubt that nice lego stadium that you share with london irish is full everyweek now with the mass of fans who used to cram into elm park all four thousand of them

What were Chelsea's attendances like in the pre-Ken Bates era?

Or even the pre-Abramovich era?

Interestingly, Readings % avearge attendance is higher than Chelseas at present. Even the champions can't sell out every week!

Attendances

I think they need to update the capacity for Arsenal and Man Utd!

Some interesting research. I think Chelsea's small amount of seats still available is a result of away allocations not being honoured by virtue of rip-off ticket prices.

Going to Barca v Recreativo this Saturday, 8pm on Sky Sports Extra, assuming I can get tickets. Shouldn't be too hard - fancy using one of those ATMs for tickets!

more glamorously than any of the recent posters i'm making the pilgrimage to Campo Centrale to see one of the worlds top classico matches-Cowdenbeath vs the hated Raith Rovers.
After a turbulent couple of weeks at both clubs-no doubt covered at length in the corriere della sport-its time to exorcise some demons on the pitch by having the blue brazil stick it to that mob

Do me a favour, Jonah - check out Rimini's Adrian Ricchiuti, a left-footed Argentinian playmaker.

Rimini were Fiorentina's only real challengers when we were in Serie C2 in 02/03, and despite them being our rivals, I became strangely attached to Ricchiuti, after his stunning goals week in, week out for Rimini. Have followed his progress since, and delighted to see him performing well in Serie B - even scoring against Juve! A far cry from playing against Gualdo and Sangiovannesse in C2/B...

I went to see rimini play about a month ago and the best player was Jeddi the Brazillian striker. They looked good going forward but the defence was a bit fragile.
I will look out for that play for you. Thanks for the tip.

Villa v Man City tonight. I predict a 2-1 home win, Vassell for them, Barry and Baros for us...

Was going to Inter v Messina, December 17th. Now cancelled due to clash with interview for a sideways move Frown. I'd better get the job. Luckily, I cancelled the hotel with no penalty and the flight was only £25 return. If the job works out I may be seeing a lot more weekend games! Fingers crossed.

Off to see the Villa v Bolton tomorrow - 17:15 kick off so be like a night game which I'm looking forward to. Gives us a chance to have a few beers in Brum centre before as well. Hopefully Angel won't miss a penalty then score an own goal like the last time I went!

Did you enjoy it? Saw it on Sky - not a bad game, I don't mind losing when we play like that. Just need a decent striker in the transfer window. Luca Toni would fit the bill!

It was okay, definetly need a new striker though and the passing is a bit poor, I saw the Spurs game and it was the same really, too many missed ones or too much pace on them all the time so control's poor and a team like Bolton will win possession back all the time. Argh Baros, he's a frustrating goon, he doesn't run and when he does he'll only fall over two seconds later, I really hope they sell him in January (if anyone would take him that is!) and get someone else in, we saw a load of police outside the ground and asked if they'd arrest Baros, he said "I'd love to mate" Santa. Defence was good, Petrov was really quiet though hardly saw him all game. Bolton are a horrible team they really are!

Villa v Man Utd tomorrow - another home defeat no doubt, but should be nice to see a full house for a change. Villa 1 (Petrov) Man Utd 2 (Rooney, Giggs)
