All depends on whether the 3 teams that have been demoted are prepared to go through the courts.........if they do we'll have a situation like we had a few years back where the league was delayed.
We'll have to wait and see what the league does.
Plus all those 3 teams will have a point deduction, if we can capitalise on our home form and hopefully pick the points away from home maybe just maybe it'll be A again!!
I am looking forward to Serie B next season, despite the fact that it will be incredibly hard for Napoli to gain promotion. I know these clubs have done wrong but the whole scandal has made things very interesting, and personally I am more excited about the coming season than I have been for a while.
I haven't heard of any new signings, but having just signed Paolo Cannavaro, I hear his brother is on the market too
And in in all seriousness, how great it is for Fabio Cannavaro to have started off at Napoli, after his exploits at the World cup. He has been defending and leading his teams at such a high level for so long, and it was great to see that he and Ciro Ferrara got the keys to Naples last week. Here's hoping to there being another youngster to follow in their footsteps.
My eldest boy is a mad Napoli fan but my middle boy follows Juve Currently one is over the moon and one is down in the dumps. Not really hard to work out which one is which really is it?
Nice easy game for you guys next weekend (September 16) when you visit Piacenza. Just in case you are interested, and if you are nowhere near a TV with SKY or in Piacenza, you will be able to listen to live radio commentary of the game on local Piacenza Radio station, Radio Sound at:
4 teams stand head and shoulders above everyone in Serie B this season (in alphabetical order): Brescia, Genoa, Juventus and Napoli.
Difficult to see how any other team stands even the slightest chance of promotion, but there could always be a surprise team, ala Mantova last season. I suspect that 5th may be Modena. (Although they have a very inexperienced coach).

surprise team has to be lecce! zemen is back with us naw and although i admit we dont have a strong squad zemen will bring the best out of whot we have so we must have a chance. It all depends how we get on in the next couple of games since it is a really bad run
what the fcuk happened to the coverage of Piacenza-Napoli advertised for eurosport this afternoon? Any one know the tune for the new Gazzetta show by the way(since im here)?
n indifferent start to the season, but it was never going to be easy jumping up a division. Glad we have Dalla Bona, he has never really made a major impact at the top level but from what I have seen, he seems to be a class above most players in this division, and he scored a cracking volley recently.
Spezia away will be tough tomorrow but realistically the team is in need of a win.
