You miss my point. We were told that the ban would not adversely affect trade and the pubs would be packed with non-smokers able to breathe freely at last. Erm, so where are they?

I went to see the Simpsons film last night. That’s not really my GTTMUQH, it was okay but I didn’t think it was that funny really. Plus, they didn’t have anything on two of my favourite characters – Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz – not a peek out of them. But it got me thinking about some of my favourite scenes – one I saw recently was the one based around Troy (and his fish fetish rumours). I love the bit when he is driving nuts and Chief Wiggum pulls him over, Troy has got one of those Back to the Future cars with the doors that open upwards and it hits Chief Wiggum in the face. He then stumbles about saying he’s seeing stars then Troy does a proper cheesy turn to the camera and says “No, Just one, hi. I’m Troy McClure!…” – you kind of have to see it but it is very funny! I watched it over and over on a DVD last nightand

I thought the actor that played them died, but i'm 90% sure i'm wrong about that.

I wasn't impressed by the simpsons movie either (and i wanted to see harry potter, grr!)

I could've sworn I posted this, but then the foro does seem to be missing a few things since I last visited - the reason McClure and Hutz don't appear is because the actor died, as Rosa said. It was Phil Hartman, who died in a murder/suicide (his wife being the murderer/suicide).

The Simpsons retired the characters as a mark of respect.

Leeds 15 Point Deduction Being Upheld

I don't really want to cheer about it but I'm pretty chuffed they upheld it too. I don't think it's working but in the football media I think there's a bit of an effort to try and make people feel sorry for Leeds - I've no idea why?! No one liked them before all their bother so why should they now? They messed it up let them deal with it - no one gave a monkeys about Rotherham when they had a load of points docked last season but because Leeds spent 3.2 billion quid a week five/six years ago to finsih thrid a couple times and get to a semi final everyone's supposed to be sobbing for them? Smeg off Leeds!
