Wow,haven`t had time to think about this really spent the last half hour talking to friends and they`re all pretty angry. Didn`t believe we would go down or that any wrong doing occured on Lazio`s part, neither did I expect the Viola to go it`s a joke.

Fixed I don't mean that in a nasty way it's just a joke.
No offence. In the same way, I'd better correct one of your fellow Gobbi's signature: It takes time to lose... 2 titles!!

Don't think appeals etc lawyers will get anyone out of this one.
There is only 14 days before the UEFA deadline of 28th July. Lazio (start in B with -7points) Viola (start in B with -12points) Juve (start in B with-30 points) and have the last two scudetti wiped out. Milan stay in A but start with -15 points and are banned from CL this year.
io sono intersita . . . MAI IN B!

Well, since I am in some sort of a black comedy type of mood, it actually takes NO time to lose two titles! See you in B! so aside from Viola and Lazio, I look forward to finding out who we will be competing with in B! Is Napoli there yet?

Am I correct in thinking there will only be 2 Italian teams in the Champions League(Inter and Roma) next season? They should give qualifiers to whoever has 3rd and 4th rather than straight into Uefa cup.

The impact of the whole situation is starting to set in. It all seemed a bit surreal last week with the 'threat' (which we knew would become reality) of relegation hanging over the club - Now it just seems utterly disheartening. Whilst I will always support the club, come rain or shine, I still feel really angry at the way the whole affair has developed. Serie B beckons for the first time in the clubs history, not through any fault of the players or fans, and thats what really gets to me...

Believe it or not, I actually agreed with Berlusconi earlier in the week when he said that it was wrong to punish the fans and the players over this. Punish the individuals? Yes. Punish those people who were completely ignorant of the whole situation and possibly ruin Serie A for the foreseeable future? Fook no.

Good post, Mezz. What has happened today transcends football rivalry and I feel for the fans of Milan, Fiorentina and Lazio (as well as our own). I'm a big boy and it hasn't hurt me in the slightest but I feel for the kids who idolise these teams and their players. They don't deserve this injustice - we don't deserve this injustice. We were all prepared at Juve for the relegation but the 30 point deficit imposed for the start of next season has been something of a kick in the teeth. All in all, I'm glad this has come to light and hope that Serie A and Italian football can be cleansed of any maladministration. Along with safer stadia, better behaved fans and security issues such as ticket distribution being addressed, I do think we're moving in the right direction.

2004/05 season - Juve's title revoked - nothing about Milan in this season so since they finished 2nd i assume they are awarded the title, unless it is given to no-one. - In light of the above, Inter do not win the title.
Classification
2004/05 - no champions or Milan are champions. 1 Juventus 86 *title revoked 2 AC Milan 79 3 Inter Milan 72 4 Udinese 62 5 Sampdoria 61 6 Palermo 53 7 Messina 48 8 Roma 45 9 Livorno 45 10 Lecce 44 11 Reggina 44 12 Cagliari 44 13 Lazio 44 14 Siena 43 15 Chievo Verona 43 16 Fiorentina 42 17 Bologna 42 18 Parma 42 19 Brescia 41 20 Atalanta 35
2005/06 season - Juve classified in last place, bumping everyone else up one place. - Milan finished season with 88-44 = 44 points, bumping everyone above them up one place. - Inter actually win a title.
Classification
