Hi everyone, since all the major top teams have their own threads i thought i could start one about serie b.
my team is Lecce, and after our coppa italia cup disaster i dont think we will do well this season especially as Vucinich look like he is going.
Whot about the rest of you supporting serie b teams whot do you think your teams will do and how do you think serie b will unfold

Well if we don't get shafted for being a bunch of silly boys and taking a pathetic argument to court rather than concentrating on playing football.....

We have started the season well with some good results in the coppa Italia - In somma we have a coach the players believe in - i think a top 7 seven finish is not beyond us

any team that had the great baggio is a team fine by me

Well we have had a good start - but if Juve escape with just a 5 point penalty it will make it hard for all of us - as they will almost certainly pick up one of the promtion spots leaving the rest of us to fight over the other two

Still I remain optomistic we have stregthened the side well without loosing key players and have done well in the coppa italia

yes you do seem in good shape and i would agree you must be a contender to go up. The good thing about having juventus in serie b is we should get more attention this year regarding the television so hopefully we can see it on eurosport. We shall see
my team dont have much of a chance really. Selling your players like we have done will not in the long run benefit the club but at least we have zemen

Serie B given go-ahead

Am I right in saying that only the Juventus and Genoa home games WILL NOT be available on SportItalia under this agreement, the rest (including the away games of Juve and Genoa) will be?

If this is right, it could be good news for British Eurosport - that's if they bid for the overseas rights!

Good start by my team hope they can keep this up.
serie b look really good with napoli doin well.
Juventus are the big surprise at moment, i do honestly think the players do not have a heart with playing in serie b. We shall see as next week.

two games and no defeats cannot complain

Juve will struggle this year every game they play they will face teams who treat the match like a cup final it will take them time to adjust but when the do there quality will shine through

just hope that it happens to late for them /!!!!!

we need to get a large gap as much as possible before juve get back to zero then with a bit of luck it will be too late for them to catch up.

any idea how Eurosprt are selecting the games this year ??

Sometimes they are live on matchdays other times fridays - I am getting confused {not a difficult taks I know !!!}

bit of a shock in bologna.Rimini look pretty useful,particularly Barusso and Jeda.
Im assuming that eurosport are just showing the live games being shown in Italy itself ie whatever games the Italians have scheduled outwith the normal saturday times.A reasonably wide selection of teams so far.
One of the commentators last night said that he thinks serie B maybe one of the most open and therefore the most interesting league in europe this year.he could be right

I watched the Juve game on Saturday and they are just a class above the rest unfortunately.. Napoli should be doing better.. they have really gone off form and the fans are already turning on them.. they expect more.

Juve looking very ominous now - but if Brescia and Lecce can keep on winning {which the former did not today !!} - then we can make our own destinies !!!!!

totally agree.
i can see juve are only naw four point in the minus stage but we have a good gap naw so if we can keep the pressure it will be teams like napoli etc we should be more worried about and not juventus
we got a great win against genoa this week so we are back in the hunt, fair do to genoa too they contributed to a fantastic game

I'd like to see Napoli back in Serie A. I've always had a soft spot for them, ever since Maradona. I hope they can go up this season, Serie A would be all the better with them involved.

yes i do agree with you napoli are a very special team. So much passion they would bring so much into serie a.
if napoli can do it along with Lecce it would be great, however Brescia are looking good along with many others.
its is really going to be tight stuff in serie b this season

Hellas are reverting to type! Lost 1-0 to Albinoleffe at home tonight, useless oafs! Big up Albinoleffe though, one of these teeny teams I like to see do well
