I think one of them lives in Firenze (John Pitonzo, or something?), but he spent very little time talking about Fiorentina which I found a bit strange.

Jeeeeeeh: how inaccurate is this report from the Serie B section of this website:

Albinoleffe 2-2 Piacenza

Piacenza completed a spectacular comeback from 2-0 down with 17 minutes to go. Minelli rose to nod in the opener and a Testini screamer seemed to put the points in the bank for Albinoleffe. However, a Miglionico header and late Degano strike earned a point for the visitors.

Scorers: Minelli 25 (A), Testini 57 (A), Miglionico 77 (P), Degano 87 (P)

A more accurate review is:

- AlbinoLeffe had only one attempt on goal all first half and scored;
- Piacenza controlled the first half but couldn't score;
- the "Testini screamer" for the second was a shot that was going nowhere until it was deflected in off one of our defenders and into the net;
- no mention of the sending off for an AlbinoLeffe player on 69 minutes;
- Piacenza battled back well (against 10 men) but didn't deserve a single point;
- Degano scored in the third minute of extra time: "Spectacular fightback" my Arsenal!

Slightly more accurate report this week from the Serie B section:

Piacenza 1-1 Bari

Piacenza and Bari shared the points at the Stadio Garilli. It took just three minutes to break the deadlock, as Cacia rose to nod in Padalino’s cross, but Bari got level on the stroke of half-time through Pagano’s impressive solo effort.

Scorers: Cacia 3 (P), Pagano 44 (B)

But still no mention of a sending off: Esposito dismissed for Bari in 22nd minute of 2nd half.

Keep up the good work!

I have been watching Catania v Mantova and it's been far more entertaining than the majority of Serie A games I have seen this season.

ONCE I LIVED IN CAPITALS, MY LIFE INTENSELY PHALLIC. but now i'm sadly lowercase with the occasional italic.

I posted a few months back regarding a Serie B game I watched (Hellas v someone).

It finished 3-2, with a 3 goal comeback by one team. Top stuff.

You don't necessarily have to watch the top leagues to see the top games...

The Cesena V Piacenza game was on RAI International on Saturday - it was an end-to-end game, so I am sure people watching much have been impressed. Entertaning 2-2 draw, with lots of goal chances and both sides hitting the woodwork.

I think the magazine is doing better a bit better now with lower league coverage, by the sounds of it it's what quite a lot of people wanted. Has anyone else seen that little box they have with some posts from this and another forum?

Apologies to everyone who has been reading this thread and thought Ok I will give Serie B a chance and watch Friday nights game

Apologies for the complete imbecile we have as a president , apologes for our worst performance of the season, At least Bari tried to make a game of it - even though they should have been able to perform much better against 11 headless chickens Mad

So much for Zeman! You should have kept Maran.

Great. A calcio forum with fans that support teams other than Juve, Milan or Inter.

Forza Hellas!
Per sempre Gialloblu.

Sempre e solo Hellas. Vicenza vaffanculo.

hi, i'm a very keen serie b fan. don't know much about it though, fav teams are verona and brescia though, favourite players are del nero and adailton. Awesome. Who is the best player in serie b?

If you have 11 strikers, you can even ask them to defend. But if you have 11 defenders, you will never attack the other team.
