Sure I'm not alone in believing that Adriano will be waaaay more of a hindrance than a help between now and january when he is clearly off in a cut-price deal to St Custards XI.

If a club wants to get shot of a player, they have really got to make sure that a deal gets done pronto, a la Jaap Stam leaving Manchester Utd. Otherwise you either get that player creating big problems in the dressing room or playing out of his skin to earn a new contract and then flopping again once he's signed it. I for one wouldn't care if Adriano went to Milan. We'd get a decent enough fee for him, let him cause his boozy trouble for them instead along with his pal number 99. Of course he'd get talked up beyond all reason, but that's Milan. If they signed my cup of coffee, the press would talk it up as the new van Basten.

Not sure what they would make of my jar of peanut butter, though. I'm on holiday in the U.S. right now and with every respect I must say that American peanut butter falls way short qualitatively in comparison to it's European counterpart.
