Looks like Man United are trying to steal Nemanja Vidic from Fiorentina.

Not sure who needs him most...

FI & Planet Football are running a story saying that we'll take the Real Madrid bound Cicínho on loan from January, right after he arrives in Spain from Sao Paulo, as they're not sure they want him anymore (signed by Luxemburgo & the soon to be gone Sacchi).

I'm not against this, but PF reckon it's a cunning scheme to smooth the passage for a Madrid Royal summer bid for Luca Toni.

If that's the case, they can stick their unwanted Brazilian up their @rse.

Pisa airport is about 1 and a half hours by (very) slow train to Florence and is much more widely used by budget airlines than Florence's airport.

Loads of budget airlines fly into Pisa - not sure about from oop north, but I know thomsonfly.com do from Coventry - maybe they do from Manc too?

I always fly to Bologna and get the fairly quick (one hour) train to Santa Maria Novella station in Florence.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any airlines that fly from Manchester or Scouseland to Bolgna, or Pisa, for that matter.

You might have to fly to either Rome or Milan and train it to Florence. It's slap bang in the middle of the Milan-Roma trainline, so it's easy as fook to get too.

It was me Nigel that heard you and raised it on the Inter thread - You sure you haven't tried a career on the radio? You seemed a natural.

I've flown to Forli on the way to Florence before, not a bad trip, but usually fly to Pisa, one hour to Florence on the train. Only Alitalia fly to Florence and even then you might have to change.

Thanks for the compliment Michael..and no ..I haven't tried for a job on the radio. My old man used to work on the press in Manchester and reckons it's a case of "who you know" and given that he was pretty much a union man then he discouraged me from going into media.
Thanks anyway Michael for the advice on the flights

not a good start in 2006,couldn't get 3 points from Reggina.and Toni couldn't get any score again.

and Swedie winger Wilhelmsson likely to join us.Can he play in both left and right?and will Prandelli send both Jorgensen and Wilhelmsson together then will be only Donadel left to defense in the midfield. or only send one of them?

Hello everyone.
Well, I must start by apologising for my absence. First I had computer problems, then I was away on holiday, and then I’ve been studying for my exams on Wednesday. However, I must admit I’ve been very slack on the table, which is very bad of me, because otherwise the championship is excellently managed by Myles, and Liam and him do the marking on time every week.
But I’ve made a commitment to do it for the duration of the season, and I will update the table (for all the weeks I’ve missed…) on Wednesday evening, after my exam.
Apologies once again for the delay, but it’s not been totally my fault!
