has anyone heard of Nikola Nrekic?? He told a friend of mine that he played for Italy for several years and played in the World Cup with them. I'm not sure when, but he is 41 years old and lives in New York City now. I cannot find ANY record of him!
Unless his name's been spelt incorrectly, the only possibilities other than a Walter Mitty complex are that he played in something like the World Youth Championship and is 'big timing it', or that he was an Italian rugby player and glossed over the fact that he wasn't talking about association football...
who hasnt tried the "im/was a professional footballer" to try and get into someones pants?Got to say though,mr Nrekic is a bold man to pretend to have been an international, particularly when his name is so unitalian. I personally pretended to be a St Johnstone footballer,in Glasgow for a game against Celtic(and breaking curfew to boot!)on the basis that i was less likely to be found out.My lie was beginning to look like it might bear fruit, too, until an idiot friend came over and pretended to be a Celtic player that even the lady had heard of.I crashed and burned....

Well, I think this is the only instance that he actually "scored" anything. My antenna went up immediately hearing about this guy. He also told her Miss Universe was hot for him...LMAO!! I think the last time she saw him she left walnuts all over the floor and I bet he deservedly busted his scoundrel-ass on the floor!!
Can you tell mw about your "Nikola Nrekic" I met a man from NY who says he played for Munich and I cannot find him anywhere. He said he owns pro[erty in CT, Miami and NY and is originally from Croatia. My version is called Nicolas but I suspect he is the same guy. Can you tell me what he looks like or more about him? My thanks
